I had a feeling CSI Miami was going to be the one getting the axe, while CSI NY would get renewed for season #9. Goodbye Horatio, you've spoken your last sentance while walking away from a person and putting on your shades. Never watched Unforgettable or A Gifted Man. NYC22 doesn't surprise me given that they put it in the death time slot of 10:00 PM on a Sunday.

We can thank CSI Miami for one of the greatest memes in history, plus this website;
I liked CSI Miami. Sure Caruso overacted 99% of the time, but it was the cheesyness of it that made the show so great. Actually in the beginning he wasn't as bad as he was this last season.
I like when new shows that look interesting get cancelled before I get around to watching the first episodes. Saves me some time and getting invested in characters.

Having done some work on prison security in the past, there would be enough cameras around that at about ten different points last night, Michael and crew should have been caught, let alone earlier in the season.
