As injury replacements for Rockets center Yao Ming and Jazz forward Carlos Boozer, Commissioner David Stern has named Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony and Mavericks forward Josh Howard to the Western Conference All-Star team.
Both are first-time All-Star selections, and this seemed to be the result everyone was hoping for.
