One of my most vivid memories of wrestling early in my life was being scared to death of him (and fascinated by the character). RIP.
Is it sad that I'm glad he died past the age of 65, if only so that another wrestler wouldn't be added to the "Dead before 65" list that's being drug out on all the shows?

I'm with you. I never saw him in WWF, but I remember seeing him in Texas I think and I was just frightened of him and his "horn." Of course later on when he became a babyface, I became a huge fan.

This was the first show of the Summer Sizzler Series at Six Flags in Louisville, which is also the fifth year OVW has had shows at the arena in the back of the park.
