On the bright side, your defense immeadiately improves.
From the infamous Wrestleline SS interview:
DTD: If you were to make changes in WCW, if you were in charge and not Ric Flair, what would they be?
SS: I'd get rid of all the old guys, and push the talent that has waited to get the push. The things they are doing, it's back in the 1980s. It's just bad, man. Flair doesn't even deserve to be on the show. You've got to get rid of all the old guys. Like what Vince did, they started pushing guys. Nobody knew who The Rock was 2 years ago. He made The Rock. Now The Rock just did Saturday Night Live. You've got to start with the young talent, talent people can relate to. Who are we trying to relate to if we've got a 50 year old man out there? Are we trying to relate, so a 50 year people and above will go out and buy a f*cking little toy? That ain't gonna happen. It's a f*cking joke.
Yeah, I scored some sweet seats for last night's game... I'm not a Ranger's fan (see my avatar, and don't laugh) but I wouldn't have minded seeing Bure play... or Messier... or Richter... or Leetch... or even Matt freakin' Barnaby. Is anyone on the team healthy?
I left to catch a train before I got to see Daze's hat trick. I've still never witnessed a live hat trick by a player on the team I was rooting for... oh well, I guess it saves me money on hats.
I left after Daze's 3rd goal (I've seen more than my fair share of opposing team hat tricks in MSG) and missed the last 2 NYR goals and Nedved's open net miss - there was no fire on the ice for the NYR and Blackburn is tired - it showed - Holmqvist is not a real back-up either - neither is LaBarbera (or whatever his name is) - it was just painful to watch the game.......and why did Sandy McCarthy shave his beard ?

The Rangers can miss the playoffs without Bure just as well as they can with him.
"If you go out with a girl and they say she has a great personality, she's ugly. If they tell you a guy works hard, he can't play a lick. Same thing." -- Charles Barkley
Congratulations to the Green Bay Gamblers, who packed the Resch Center (an 8,487-strong sellout! Wow!) for Game 7 of the Clark Cup finals...and won 5-3 to claim the Cup and the USHL championship!
