TwinCities.com is reporting that former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar was in an accident last night, as his motorcycle collided with a minivan in the Cedar-Riverside area of Minneapolis.
According to his agent, doctors at Hennepin County Medical center removed glass from his forehead and stitched him up. He was released from the hospital immediately, and his agent says this accident will not interfere in his plans to tryout for the NFL.
See what happens when you screw Vince? HE TRIES TO HAVE YOU KILLED!
This, of course, could have been much worse. There's a reason most pro athletes have a 'no dangerous activity' clause in their contracts (Jay Williams of the Bulls being a prime example - he may never play basketball again any has only a fairly small amount of his salary paid out in a medical settlement because of it) and now Brock's going to have to convince people he's not going to do anything career-threatening from this point forward if he's ever going to smell a NFL contract.
Professional wrestling star and aspiring professional football defensive lineman Brock Lesnar is resting at home after his motorcycle collided with a minivan Saturday evening in the Cedar-Riverside area of Minneapolis, his agent said.
Lesnar, known better by WWE devotees as "The Next Big Thing," was on his bike around 6 p.m. Saturday when it struck a minivan that pulled out in front of him, said agent John Wolf.
Doctors at Hennepin County Medical Center removed glass from Lesnar’s forehead and stitched him up, Wolf said. He was released from the hospital immediately.
Lesnar is used to getting scuffed up in the ring, but the motorcycle smash was a little scarier. "He gets hit over the head with a chair all the time," Wolf said. "But obviously this one wasn’t planned."
In a recent phone call with his agent, Lesnar said he was lucky — and sore.
Nonetheless, the crash will "not set him back one bit" as the recently retired pro wrestler pursues a football career, Wolf said. Lesnar, who has been training in Phoenix and regularly visiting his family on the weekends, will resume working out Wednesday.
Lesnar, 26, won an NCAA heavyweight wrestling championship at the University of Minnesota before joining the World Wrestling Entertainment ring.
He’s expected to have a workout for scouts representing several NFL teams in mid-May.
"Because I’m a fan. Because I view this industry as an art form, and I have a deep appreciation for that art form because I’m not physically able and never have been and never will be physically able to do what they do in the ring. And even if I was physically able, I don’t think I have the balls to attempt it. It’s so dangerous. It’s so hard. It’s so intricate. It’s so difficult. It’s so taxing. I couldn’t do it. And I have enormous respect and admiration for those who do, let alone do it well."
Gee, you would think Brock Lesnar would be a whole lot smarter than that. Haven't we gone through this all ready with Jay Williams from the Chicago Bulls. Who will probably never play in the NBA again. You are taking an unnecessary risk when you ride a motorcycle. Considering the fact that Brock is preparing himself to try out for the Minnesota Vikings this summer. Which will not be an easy task for him. The NFL is a completely different ballgame to what he's been use too.

Considering that only 5% of accidents involve motorcycles (and about 80% of those are single vehicle, i,e. driver error), it's safe to say that you are taking a greater risk by riding in a "cage"
All joking aside, I've been riding for 4 years now and I have had only one close call, gravel on a mountain road (Rt 55 near Mouth of Seneca, WV). If you're not riding drunk, or pulling wheelies, or drag racing, bikes are very safe. It's all the stupid drivers out there that are unsafe.
Have you seen ANY bikers riding with a cell phone? (Well, I saw one. He had a flip up helmet and was on it at a red light, WITH a cancer stick in his mouth. He wanted to die young I guess )

Of course the upside of that is you have a much higher risk of serious injury/fatality on a bike. After all, you know what they call crotch rocket riders in the ER? Organ donors.
This is starting to having nothing to do with Brock Lesnar getting into an accident. If keeps doing that, posts will start to disappear, you know? Debate motorcycles someplace outside of Wrestling.
Okay... so I find it a bit funny. The image of an EMT or someone at the ER yanking glass from that sloping brow, well it makes me giggle. Of course I giggled like a cranked up Japanese schoolgirl in a tentacle hentai when I sprained my ankle. Boy howdy were the neighbors staring. But back to Brock. While this isn't irony, it's amusing and a bit of comuppance that he may have deserved, or not depending on ones point of view. And like people said he's gonna need to be... what's the word? Oh yeah, CAUTIOUS if he wants to be a football player.
Side note what with hazing that happens in the NFL, should Brock make it what are they going to do to him? And more importantly, should it involve a roll of duct tape, three pomegrantes, a pocket watch, and a garter snake?
Edit for spelling and stuff... and some incoherence.

That's ridiculous. "I'm burned out as a wrestler, so I want to pursue a dream of mine before I'm too old" means he deserved to be involved in a situation where he could have been seriously hurt (or worse)?

Click Here (badmovies.net) badmovies.net also has a summary of the plots of the movies. And if you can't make it through the trailer of Santo (actually since this was filmed in 2001, it's obviously Hijo del Santo):
