Napoleon Dynamite was decent and all, but I was waiting on baited breath for Bob's Burgers to come back.
Bob's kids still make this show great. Louise is quickly making her way onto my short list of all-time faves, especially after her bit with the taffy dummy. Giving the kids their own main plotline was a good move to start the new season. Glad to have this show back!
Cyndi Lauper ending the episode with "Taffy Butt" was just the icing on the cake.
Linda: You ok? How's your penis? Bob: It's ok. Gene: MINE'S a nightmare, if anyone's wondering.
-----
Bob: Gene, what did I tell you about finger quotes? Gene: Not to "do" them. But ironic detachment is great! Nothing means anything!
I'm glad it's back - this was the highlight of Domination for sure. I also loved the Cyndi Lauper closing theme (which balanced out all the dancing during the closing credits) and the reveal of the gold bar in the taffy man.
Well worth the wait. I loved this show and it lived up to my expectation. Every characted hits. I hope the Pesto kids become more invovled this year (it's a fun-cussion).
And yes, Cyndi Lauper closing out the episode with Jimmy Jr. dancing was awesome.
