Okay, not exactly a COMPUTER related question, but who has any experience here with Bluetooth issues.
I have an LG E980. Recently it began not recognizing any Bluetooth devices.
I have done a soft reset. A hard reset. I have updated the software and tried a few apps that are supposed to fix Bluetooth issues, to no avail.
The google searches I have done have all pointed to doing the things I've already tried.
When searching for devices, even withing 12 inches from them, it shows no devices available.
The Bluetooth address is 48:59:29:62:98:92 if that helps at all.
It's an older phone, so I am not really going to spend any money taking it anywhere to get it fixed (already saving for a new phone), but in the meantime, I'd just like for it to work to occasionally listen to some tunes via my soundbar while I do housework during the day.
The other thing to check is: do other devices recognize/see the phone? Like a bluetooth radio in a car or in your computer

This is probably something you've already checked, but do other Bluetooth devices connect to the soundbar fine?
I'm guessing you can use a normal aux cable to plug the headphone jack from the phone into the soundbar, but that isn't helpful if you wanted the phone in your pocket while you move around the house.
