So the Blackhawks are scheduled to play the Red Wings at Wrigley on New Year's Day. I contacted the Hawks and were told that the tickets were only going to season ticket holders.
My buddy and I really wanted to go to Chicago for this game.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go backstage. I'm proud of myself, I just beat Brad Armstrong!" - Arn Anderson on WCW Saturday Night in 1992, in the classiest display I've ever seen of someone putting over an underrated mid-carder that everyone in the locker room knew deserved better than the push he got.

Shouldn't there only be like 19-21,000 Hawks season ticket holders at most? Or are they allocating all the other tickets to Wings' season ticket holders?
I'd imagine that they'll give season ticket holders in Chicago first crack at the tickets, before opening them up for public sale later if any remain. Keep an eye open for an announcement on that later on, if that's the case.
We're all set for that.. extra seats will be available from "Wrigley Field Premium Ticket Services, Inc." Regardless of demand, there will be some tickets to scalp.. I mean re-sell at the last minute.
You're in Calgary, my good man -- there are three minor hockey teams there. If you miss the Flames, there's better hockey to be seen in the Hitmen, the Royals or the Canucks.
