I don't know if it's supposed to be like that (maybe I missed the memo) but you can't look at the banished threads anymore. Or is there something wrong with me (meaning my computer because it's a piece of shit). Just wonderin.

Have you checked "show new only" in your profile? If so, you won't see a previous "marked as read" thread since there are no new posts to it.

I only know that I can change; everything else just stays the same.

You can also always click "show all" in the top right corner of the thread a read stuff that you've already marked as read.

Actually, that works in any thread if you have the show only new selected. The threads you have read will appear on a gray background (courtesy CRZ) and if there are any new threads, they will appear at the end with normally shaded backgrounds.
