Inspired by Guru's post, I have a few questions of my own about everyone's wrestling habits. So, here goes...

When was the last time you attended a WWF show?

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

Do you read spoilers?

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

Do you get behind wrestlers or angles that others on the net tend to bash? For example, do you like the Undertaker even though "he never sells and won't put over young talent"? Do you absolutely hate "What?" because "it's stale" and because it makes it "impossible for heels to cut promos"? Are you Hogan fan? Are you a Kevin Nash or Scott Hall fan?

//EDIT! One more question, do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV?(watching old tapes doesn't count)

When was the last time you attended a WWF show?

April 22 RAW in St. Louis

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

2 RAWs, one Smackdown, one house show in the last 2 years. Plus No Way Out 2000 just over 2 years ago.

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

Just NWO 2000

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

I'd imagine the NWO tickets, though at this point I can't remember how much they cost me

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

no

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

no

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

I haven't missed a PPV since Unforgiven 2000, and even then it was just because I was out of town and forgot to have someone record it for me. The last PPV I missed because I didn't care to pay for it was Fully Loaded 1999.

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

I have one friend who usually splits with me, alternating whose apartment we watch at. Sometimes I watch alone, sometimes, we have a third or fourth person join us.

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

Until recently, I have watched the whole show all the way through always. But lately they just haven't been keeping my interest. I usually watch most of RAW, but I haven't seen an entire espisode of Smackdown in almost 4 months

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

Yes, it has gotten worse

Do you read spoilers?

yes

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

I don't buy them

Do you get behind wrestlers or angles that others on the net tend to bash? For example, do you like the Undertaker even though "he never sells and won't put over young talent"? Do you absolutely hate "What?" because "it's stale" and because it makes it "impossible for heels to cut promos"? Are you Hogan fan? Are you a Kevin Nash or Scott Hall fan?
There are a lot of things many people seem to hate that I enjoy.

//EDIT! One more question, do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV?(watching old tapes doesn't count)Yes

Q: When was the last time you attended a WWF show?

A: Never been to a live show, though not because I didn't want to.

Q:How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

A: See Above

Q: Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

A: Ditto

Q: What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

A: ...

Q: What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

A: No

Q: Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

A: No

Q: In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

A: I've ordered every pay-per view since No Way Out, and it would have been earlier had I not been depending on other people for cable.

Q: Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

A: None of my friends are wrestling fans, thus I always watch alone.

Q: How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

A: I usually "watch" it the whole way through, meaning I never change the channel. But I'll occasionally ignore a segment (usually when Austin is involved.)

Q: In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

A: [What?] Has something [what?] or someone [what?] weakened [what?] my interest [what?] in the [what?] product?

The answer is simply Stone Cold Steve Austin. Back in late '99 when I first started watching I thought he was tolerable, but I didn't see what all the hype was about. Now I see him openly displaying all of the characteristics which the smarky-smarks accuse the kliq members of doing behind closed doors, and said smarks are defending him because his victims are said kliq members. If it was wrong when they did it, it's still wrong when it's done to them.

Q: Do you read spoilers?

A: Every week, but I always feel guilty for doing it.

Q: When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

A: I've never bought a t-shirt but I lost track of how many DVDs and videos I have a looooooooong time ago.

Q: Do you get behind wrestlers or angles that others on the net tend to bash? For example, do you like the Undertaker even though "he never sells and won't put over young talent"? Do you absolutely hate "What?" because "it's stale" and because it makes it "impossible for heels to cut promos"? Are you Hogan fan? Are you a Kevin Nash or Scott Hall fan?

A: Yes, Yes, Yes, No. It's rare that a turn makes me do a complete 180 on my opinion of somebody (the last time was when Benoit turned face... I hated him after that) But when Taker became an asshole to go along with his badass-ness hos stock went through the roof.

I've already explained what I think of Austin and "What?"

I am a Hogan Fan. I have been since I opposed my brother's becoming a Warrior fan (he has since "outgrown" wrestling and I now place Mr. Hellwig at the top of my "guilty pleasures" list.) I also oppose the hive mentality that Hogans's pops are all about nostalgia. Nostalgia will get a guy over, but it will not keep him over... Hogan is currently better than he ever was... People are allowed to kick out of the leg drop, people are allowed to ignore the hulk-up, and finally the best match of his career was a mere two months ago at Wrestlemania! I admit I've never been a big workrate freak but even I've noticed that Hogan has stepped it up this time around.

As for Hall and Nash, while I'll gladly defend them against double-standards (see above) I still don't like them, and I'm not really sure why. It not a Kliq thing (I like Shawn Michaels,) It's not a workrate thing (I like Hogan and Taker) It's not a promo thing (I like RVD, plus I think Nash is good at that) and It's not a backstage thing (I like Bradshaw) I can't really put my finger on what it is I don't like about them, I just don't.

Q: One more question, do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV?(watching old tapes doesn't count)

A: I spend more time than I should.

Inspired by Guru's post, I have a few questions of my own about everyone's wrestling habits. So, here goes...

When was the last time you attended a WWF show?
November of 2001

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?
See above.

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?
Yes, ECW Guilty as Charged '99

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?
$40 including Ticketmaster surcharges

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?
Yes, I attended an NWA-Florida show in late 2000.

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?
Yes, see the first question, please.

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?
I ordered none in the last year- if I want to watch a PPV it's much easier to go to the local sports bar and pay $5 cover. The last PPV I ordered was WCW World War III 1998. (gag)

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?
In the past, I have done both.

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?
It depends on if I feel like playing first-person shooters on my computer or not. :)

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?
Yes, I've noticed a WCW-ish trend in that "Given a series of outcomes, the worst choice will always be picked."

Do you read spoilers?
Sometimes.

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?
I bought an nWo shirt in mid-'97 when they were actually a good thing, that's about it.

Depends on the wrestler or angle. I liked Barry "Hole In One" Darsow when most others I knew didn't, but that's irrelevant here. In terms of today's content, Undertaker's mic work is growing on me, especially his comeback to the fans chanting "What!" (Say what if you like sleeping with your sister! or something of that effect)

//EDIT! One more question, do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV?(watching old tapes doesn't count)
Lately yes, but that probably has a lot to do with four hours less to watch with WCW's demise.

When was the last time you attended a WWF show?

October 15, 2001. They've been here twice since, but I was broke.

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

One is the answer to both.

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

Yep. WCW Mayhem in Toronto.

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

$40ish

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

Nope.

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

Nope.

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

11. I last missed King Of The Ring 2001 through no fault of my own.

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

I've done both. I tend to like splitting the cost, but if I can't find anyone to watch it with me I'll shell out the whole thing. The only time I recall paying the whole deal was Wrestlemania X7 when my girlfriend didn't want to go out with my friends that night.

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

I missed this week's Smackdown! due to hockey. Aside from that, I don't remember the last time I missed a show. I might have in January when I was working late alot. I watch 'em mostly because I'm anal retentive about taping every show and adding it to my collection.

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

The complete and total disregard for WCW's history despite the fact Vince McMahon ISN'T FUCKING COMPETING WITH THEM ANYMORE. We all know about the InVasion, but you need recent examples? Ric Flair would have NEVER joined the nWo, if only because if he needs backup he would have turned to his Horsemen friends. He's never been tight with the guys in the nWo, ESPECIALLY since the current crew are more or less the guys who mocked Arn's retirement. And Booker T? This is a guy who CONTINUALLY turned the nWo down, despite brother Stevie Ray trying his damnedest to get Booker as part of the group. But Vince McMahon doesn't know this - and he's not about to ask because he doesn't give a shit. I may be WCW to the bone, but I'd feel the exact same way if WWF guys were jumping ship and doing the exact same thing. I always did.

Do you read spoilers?

Not anymore, no.

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

I got SummerSlam 93 in the mail on Tuesday, and TLC: Tables Ladders and Chairs in on Friday. About 1-2 new videos per week.

I like Undertaker, Big Show, X-Pac, Goldust, Scott Hall, and a whole slew of others the net hates. I also like Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, and others the net loves. I decide whether or not I like someone based on whether or not *I* like them. Could care less what they do backstage, as long as they do their thing on TV.

When was the last time you attended a WWF show?

Last summer, if WWF/MCW shows count as WWF shows

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

That was the one and only

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

no

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

Ah, the reason I rarely go to shows live, tickets are too darn much. I guess that show was $10-$12, which would be the most. A little more than a movie, or a minor league baseball game, but lasts a little longer too.

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

Back in the day, I went to USWA and CWA (basically Memphis wrestling) shows on a regular basis. I don't think there really is an independent worth seeing around here these days

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

yes

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

no, once again, costs too much. Once I was able to get the feed for free for some reason, so I went ahead and watched. It was enjoyable, but not $30-$40 enjoyable.

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

no

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

I watch Raw weekly, and all the way through. I only watch Smackdown if I read something in the spoilers that I really want to see. Even then, I might just time it to watch the certain event/happening I wanted to see and tune back out

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

Not really. I've been disappointed with how some of the angles turned out (WCW vs. WWF comes to mind), but not enough to weaken interest

Do you read spoilers?

yes

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

About the only thing I buy is games. Whenever Smackdown 2 came out would be the when I bought my last game. I, very rarely, will rent a WWF video of a PPV.

I have different tastes than some on the internet. I could care less about backstage politics. I could see why the "young talent" may care, but I never understood why I, the fan, should care. All I want is to be entertained. If a 80 year old can do it, fine. If a 8 year old can do it, fine. I really don't care. If it entertains me, I'm fine with it, no matter who happens to be doing the entertaining. If I'm not being entertained, then I'm not fine. But I'm still not going to try to speculate on things going on backstage, because I neither have the knowledge, nor the control, to do anything about it. The only thing I can control is whether or not I watch. Er, end of rant.

//EDIT! One more question, do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV?(watching old tapes doesn't count)

Probably so.

When was the last time you attended a WWF show?
May 13, 2002. RAW is RAW @ Air Canada Centre in Toronto.

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?
Let's see...
RAW [5/13/02]
WrestleMania X-8 [3/17/02]
SmackDown [9/04/01]
RAW is WAR [9/03/01]
House Show [5/01?]
And before that, there was a RAW and house show in 1999, and a few random house shows in 1997 and 1998.

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?
Yep, WrestleMania X-8, March 17, 2002.

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?
Erm, $55 for 10th row at a house show in Toronto, the night before Fully Loaded 1999.

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?
Apocolypse Wrestling Federation, Toronto indy.

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?
Nope.

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?
None. The last one I ordered was probably WWF Royal Rumble 1999.

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?
Yep, Royal Rumble 1997, 1998, and 1999, all by myself.

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?
I watch them every week, most of the time. I will change the channel if I see someone I dislike, but change it back every 10 minutes or so, until they are OFF MY SCREEN.

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?
The angles have sucked. I was big on the inVasion until they messed THAT one up, but I've always been loyal, no matter HOW crappy the product has been.

Do you read spoilers?
I used to, but not anymore.

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?
I bought the WrestleMania X-8 program at WrestleMania X-8 (DUH) and just last week I got the SummerSlam 2000 DVD. Next week, I plan on grabbing the SummerSlam 2001 video.

Sometimes, but it all matters if they entertain me. I dislike the nWo, just because I find them boring. I used to dig X-Pac, but he's a little shit now. I think "WHAT?!" is still funny when used in moderation, and while I don't actively root for the Undertaker, I don't hate him and would rather see him more than many other wrestlers on the roster.

Do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV?(watching old tapes doesn't count)
I don't think so, but I do spend a lot of time reading up on wrestling-related topics, whether it be old reviews, or opinionated columns, or CRZ's stuff (which always entertains me).

i love surveys SO MUCH. no, really, they're awesome.

Q: When was the last time you attended a WWF show?

A:Smackdown taping in January.

Q: How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

A: Two.

Q: Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

A: WM 8 in Indianapolis.

Q: What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

A: $40

Q:What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

A: Plenty. Over 100. But I used to work for a couple promotions and/or was covering the shows.

Q: Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

A: Yes (see above)

Q: In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

A: Last one that was purchased was No Way Out. We now go to a bar to watch them, rather than buy them. The last one we missed was the first PPV this year, during the DirecTV empass.

Q: Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

A: Yes by myself, in the past. Not recently. (see above)

Q: How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

A: I tape both each week. But, if after reading spoilers/CRZ's recap, I will often not even bother to watch them.

Q:In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

A: Other than the storylines going to hell?

Q:Do you read spoilers?

A: absolutely

Q: When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

A: I bought the RAW magazine with Flair on the front. Last T-Shirt bought was Benoit's. Last DVD bought was second Mick Foley disc.

A: I'm the epitome of a smart fan. I like puroresu and lucha. I like cruiserweights. I hate lumbering sloths. I hate hardcore matches. I love Benoit and Angle. I hate UT and Nash and Hogan.

Q: One more question, do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV?(watching old tapes doesn't count)

A: without a doubt.

1987. Or maybe it was 1988.

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

    Zero. Zero.

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

    No.

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

It's been so long I forget, but I'll guess they were probably about U.S. $20.00 (twenty U.S. dollars).

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

    No.

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

    Yes.

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

Ordered four. The last I missed was the one in January of this year (the one before No Way Out).

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

    Watch by myself.

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

Watch them both each week, all the way thru. The only exceptions are when I'm on the road (some towns don't have a UPN affiliate, and I've yet to stay at a hotel that carries TNN on their in-room TV's).

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

Yes; Rock leaving to do movies.

    No.

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

Last month I picked up about a half-dozen tapes. No hats. No shirts. No shoes. No problem (sorry, couldn't resist).

It seems I'm enjoying WWE's product alot more than most others on the net, at least based on many of the posts I see on this board. I tend to enjoy watching all of the current wrestlers, both those who get bashed by the IWC (Undertaker, Hogan, Terri) and those whom the IWC absolutely adores (Jericho, Lance Storm, Molly Holly). Pretty much each member of the WWE roster brings enough talent and skill to the table (or mat, if you will) that makes each of them entertaining within certain defined roles. The key to a good show is to try to put each wrestler in an angle that will exploit their strenghts without exposing their weaknesses; that's the job of the writers. I don't think it's fair to blame the actor if he's miscast or forced to work with a bad script.

Another thing I should have said is that, while I often miss epsiodes of Smackdown, Heat and parts of RAW, I have every single episode on tape since the post-wrestlemania 15 RAW, plus most of the Jakked shows in that period. I also have on tape all the Nitros, Thunders and WCW Saturday Nights in that period before WCW went under.

A Star Wars Geek says:

When was the last time you attended a WWF show?

I have never had the WWF put on a show in an area where I was living. ONE house show came to Tulsa and the Hardyz headlined it if you want a clue of how barren the talent pool was. I was at the August 2000 Nitro in Tulsa.

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

See last response.

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

See first response.

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

$28

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

I've been to a few and they all sucked. But they were mostly glorified backyard wrestlers so I've never seen anything the likes of Wildside or HWA.

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

No.

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

One, Wrestlemania. I only order the big four and I couldn't be home for the Rumble.

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

Yes I've watched quite a few alone. I (along with 10 other guys) also mooched off a paying customer with a 60" HDTV all through 2000-2001 until IO moved to Hawaii.

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

I watch and record every SD and Raw unless I fall asleep during them or something like Episode II opening pops up.

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

Hogan's title run, Hall's firing, Jericho and HHH's WM Match.

Do you read spoilers?

When K5 puts SD on Saturday like they do 3/4 of the time yes. If SD is on Thursday I wait to be surprised.

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

I bought some action figures a little over a year ago.

Yes, I like Stasiak.

No I do not like Undertaker. And it's because he just doesn't entertain me. They say Sports Entertainment and not Wrestling so I'll live with being jipped with no wrestling but I expect them to entertain me.

Yes. I said YES! I said it's annoying and interrupts faces and heels alike.

No.

Nash is funny on the mic, and Hall is that AND a good wrestler. So yes.

Do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV?(watching old tapes doesn't count)

Yes. But that might change soon with Velocity coming on the air.

I'm a Cruiserweight, how do you like that?

When was the last time you attended a WWF show?

Smackdown sometime between x-7 and the next months Backlash.
I am going to Judgement Day tomorrow though.

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

One.
Three.

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

Not yet, but the hours are counting down.

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

$80 for the ppv.

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

No.

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

No.

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

Eleven. Missed Judgement Day last year. Besides that, I ordered every one since Backlash 99.

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

Watch with friends, pay for alone.

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

Every week i can. Sometimes i miss Raw and i still haven't seen this week's Smackdown. I'd say i miss about five shows a year.

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

Less Rock, less intrest.

Do you read spoilers?

Sometimes. I always regret it when i do.

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

I just got Wrestlemania X-8 on dvd. Other than that i own one Rock shirt, no way out 2000, and wrestlemania x-7.

Do you absolutely hate "What?" because "it's stale" and because it makes it "impossible for heels to cut promos"? Are you Hogan fan? Are you a Kevin Nash or Scott Hall fan?

I've always liked Rock, even when the net hated him. I dislike "what." Hulk still rules.

//EDIT! One more question, do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV?(watching old tapes doesn't count)

Depends on what the conversation is online. I tend to be positive about the product, and only spend a lot of time talking if I think the product is being bashed without reason.

When was the last time you attended a WWF show?

The October 8 RAW in Indianapolis. Most memorable for Steve Austin defeating Kurt Angle to win his sixth WWF Championship.

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

Just the one.

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

No. I was in Indianapolis when WrestleMania VIII came to the Hoosier Dome, but that was many years before I became a wrestling fan. WCW Sin 2001 came to Conseco Fieldhouse, but by that point I didn't want to go to a WCW pay-per-view. Yeah, even the hardcore WCW fan had his limits.

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

Oooh, it's been awhile. I know that I paid for the tickets to RAW, and I believe they were $30 tickets. Excellent seats, too.

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

Yup, the WCWO show on May 4 was the most fun I've ever had at a wrestling show, and probably the most fun I've had all year.

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

Nope, the three total shows I've gone to, I've gone to with my dad.

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

Heh. I've only ever ordered one pay-per-view, WWF or otherwise: WrestleMania X-8 this year. So the last time I missed one was, well, Backlash. LOL...

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

My parents bought WrestleMania for me for my birthday (Februrary 23, send all birthday cards to my posted e-mail address), and I watched it with my dad. Damn, sad that wrestling's really the only thing that brings us together.

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

I try to watch RAW every week. I'm rarely able to catch SmackDown, since I routinely work on Thursdays. But I read the spoilers as soon as they come out, so I know what's up. I watch RAW the whole way through, but I will turn it off if it's boring. I muted during the “Wind Beneath Our Rings” segment-- it was embarassing, and Stephanie's singing was causing my ears to bleed.

I have already made plans to see Star Wars: Episode II this Monday, and I don't particularly care if I miss RAW or not to see it. Shows how much the product has degraded-- because Monday is my scheduled off day for the explicit purpose of watching RAW. Now, I'm starting not to care.

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

Oh, ha. Hahahahahahahahaha! Few things in the past year have strengthened my interest in the product-- although Benoit and Jericho getting pushed did hold me the entire time. Read a few of my earlier posts if you want to know how upset I truly am with the product.

Do you read spoilers?

SmackDown and Heat spoilers, yup. Unless I know I'll be able to catch those shows. But most of the time, I'm not able to.

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

One thing I do like is that the WWF's pay per views have been fairly good. So I have nine of them from last year, as well as this year's Royal Rumble and No Way Out. I taped WrestleMania while watching it. The very, very last piece of merchandise (including everything) was the first copy of WW...E Magazine, along with the Hulkamania retrospective.

I'll try to answer one at a time, but I get the general question you're asking. I don't like Triple H, because his politics are just so damn clear you might as well hang a neon sign around his neck announcing his political maneuvers to the entire world. I hate how he fucked with Jericho's heat, and I hate what he did to the WrestleMania main event.

I actually think the Undertaker's pretty cool-- some of the shit he says cracks me up. I used to be the biggest Undertaker hater in the world, but I've mellowed a little in my old age.

I... HATE... WHAT. What? I said I hate What. And for the exact same reasons you mentioned.

I don't mind Hogan right now, because he's not exactly running roughshod over the entire company. He's on top, but his reign seems more precarious than it has in years past. He doesn't seem to have as much control as he used to-- or perhaps he's changed, I don't know.

Am I a Kevin Nash fan? No. Although he's pretty cool when he's able to cut intense promos, like the one he cut on Hogan the night after WrestleMania.

I'm the biggest Scott Hall mark in the world, despite all his problems. I do the Scott Hall finger point at work to direct customers to my register when I'm feeling kind of goofy.

Edit: Yeah, I do spend much more time doing wrestling stuff on the internet than actually watching wrestling. Even including all the tapes I have. Ha!

When was the last time you attended a WWF show?

A WWF house show in Seattle right before WrestleMania, with a main event of HHH v. Jericho.

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

Only one other in the past two years - a house show in San Diego before WrestleMania X-7, main event Austin v. HHH. I would've gone to more but they don't come to Washington much...

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

Yes, WrestleMania 2000.

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

$50 for WrestleMania.

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

Yes - MPW, CCW and UPW shows in San Diego, and some scattered shows in Idaho.

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

Yes, usually the indys.

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

Five, mostly since I mooch off my boss a lot. I haven't missed a WWF PPV in quite some time.

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

Both.

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

I rarely miss Raw or SmackDown, but do turn them off if the main event isn't interesting to me - I live on the West Coast so I can find out how the show goes.

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

Just overall doldrums.

Do you read spoilers?

Yes.

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

Last time I bought a WWF DVD - last week, WrestleMania X-8.
Last time I bought a WWF shirt - an nWo shirt off ShopZone a couple of months ago.
As far as the number of DVDs, I own basically every WWF DVD, with only a few exceptions.

I'm a *huge* Undertaker fan. Everybody knows that.
I have no real problem with What?, which seems to have died down.

I kinda like Hogan, I like Hall, I'm iffy on Nash.

EDIT! One more question, do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV?(watching old tapes doesn't count)

Yes, just because I have nothing else to do.

When was the last time you attended a WWF show?
I didn't realize it's been so long, but the last WWF show I was at was a RAW in April 1998.

How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?
None. But I went to over 30 shows between 1987-1999

Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?
Three - Slamboree '94, King of the Ring '95 & IYH Mind Games (9/96).

What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?
$30 at KOTR '95

What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?
Unfortunately, no.

Have you ever attended a show by yourself?
Well I never went alone, but I have ended up sitting apart from my friends a few times.

In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?
I haven't bought a PPV since late '97, yet I haven't missed one since then either...

Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?
I've done both.

How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?
I always watch Raw, I watch Smackdown about half of the time. I will turn the show off when Vince, Steph, or some other annoyance comes on screen.

In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?
Yes, I don't know exactly what though...

Do you read spoilers?
Usually.

When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?
The only WWF shirt I purchased was the Owen Hart "King of Harts" shirt in '95. I think WWF The Music Volume 5 was the only thing I've gotten in the last year.

Do I hate "What"? WHAT?! Yes. WHAT?! I'm tired of it. WHAT?! Sick of it. WHAT?! I've had enough of it! WHAT?! Shut up!! WHAT?! I said "Shut up!!" It used to be funny when it was just Austin saying it during the Alliance days though.

Well, I don't dislike the Undertaker. I haven't been a Hogan fan since I was 10. I don't think I've ever been a Nash fan, but I was/am a Scott Hall fan.

Do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV? (watching old tapes doesn't count)
No, I watch more wrestling.

Inspired by Guru's post, I have a few questions of my own about everyone's wrestling habits. So, here goes...

Hoo-kay...

1. When was the last time you attended a WWF show?

Wrestlemania 11.

2. How many WWF shows have you gone to in the last year? Last two years?

Zero, and zero.

3. Have you ever attended a Pay-Per-View?

Just WM11.

4. What's the most you've ever spent on a ticket?

Nothing. All tickets were gifts.

5. What about indy shows? Have you ever gone to a non-WWF or WCW show?

Yes, one that was at a high school around here. They had Men On A Mission there, and of course I had Mo autograph my program right on the darkest part, using a regular Sharpie.

6. Have you ever attended a show by yourself?

Nope.

7. In the last year, how many WWF Pay-Per-Views have you ordered? When was the last time you missed one?

None.

8. Have you ever bought a PPV and watched it by yourself or do watch them with friends and split the cost?

Nope. I watched one with a friend (WM9), but he paid for it.

9. How often do you watch Raw and Smackdown? Do you watch it the whole way through or will you turn it off if it's not interesting you?

Whenever I can, but I'll flip around all the time. I'll skip it if I don't care (a-HEM, Hogan promo on SD).

10. In the past year, has something happened that has weakened your interest in the WWF "product"?

Yeah, it started to suck long and hard.

11. Do you read spoilers?

All the time.

12. When was the last time you bought a WWF shirt, DVD, or other piece of merchandise? How many have you bought in the last year?

The Tatanka tomahawk, and none.

13a. Do you get behind wrestlers or angles that others on the net tend to bash? For example, do you like the Undertaker even though "he never sells and won't put over young talent"?

Sometimes... I tend to be a bit of an apologist for a lot of angles. But Hogan still sucks.

13b. Do you absolutely hate "What?" because "it's stale" and because it makes it "impossible for heels to cut promos"?

YES. I was about to beat my old roomie senseless with his replica belt when he did that to me.

13c. Are you Hogan fan? Are you a Kevin Nash or Scott Hall fan?

No, no, and sort of.

14. EDIT! One more question, do you spend more time online reading and talking about wrestling than you do watching it on TV?(watching old tapes doesn't count)

Yeah. Mostly because I get to piss and moan about how it sucks.

(EDIT: Missed one. Oopsie.)
