I'm finding some errors too! A lot of my posts disappear. Perhaps there is a problem with the database structure losing records. Maybe a logic problem in your SQL queries.
Maybe some other people have this problem too. I've noticed other posts just up and disappearing.

Maybe I'm dumb, but I still can't figure out the relationship between the instant rating and the actual rating. In most cases, they are the same, but in a few cases (Jaguar and If I was a Rich Man are two examples from this very thread), there is a slight difference. How *instant* is the instant rating, exactly?
Well, I believe I only had 9 votes earlier, so I'd say the 'Instant Rating' is your rating at that point in time? So I could follow my posts and actually see what I did to garner an even lower rating from my Wienerpeers?
The instant rating shows what your rating was at the instant that you posted.
If you posted a series of dumb posts, theoretically you could watch your rating drop in the span of a thread.
The way that we implemented this opens up for some interesting reporting on ratings - which I may get to at some point if I'm really bored. Unfortunately, since this is the kind of stuff I do at work, I'm not likely to want to do it for free when I'm off. So - I probably won't ever actually do it.

Are you sure? I thought I worked on that before I got married. Maybe that's how long we've been "working" on it. And by working I mean having searched google and pestering Adam to install stuff.
Actually, come to think of it, everything I did on that ended up getting re-done by someone else. I guess that either makes me a crap coder or a great manager.
