I read it was a highly customized Android which was going to keep you within the Amazon App Store (or whatever cheerful name they have for it)
I wasn't impressed. I'm still happy with my Galaxy S4 although I'm tempted to blow, what, six hundred bucks to get a Galaxy S5 even though it's only been 10 months for me with the S4.
(The fact that it'd be another six hundred bucks definitely keeps that urge down.)
I'll be honest - I am a big fan of my kindle fire and I have been happy enough with the Amazon Apps - it's been rare that I found something that was on google play that wasn't on Amazon apps - it happens, but rare.
My wife needs a new phone but we're sprint. I'd get this for her (she also has a Kindle fire) if it wasn't exclusive to ATT.

I don't know why, but all my new inbound mail has a messed-up timestamp. Mail I got a few minutes ago (at 8:15 PM) said 4:15 AM instead. My sent messages have the right time, as does my desktop clock. Any ideas?
