Hmmm, A-Rod was already the kid's favorite player, you don't think the kid maybe had some kinda ulterior motive there when he saw A-Rod standing there? Not saying that's necessarily what happened, just food for thought. (The kid would have to be pretty stupid if it were the case, anyway, but no one accused the kid of being smart.)
