I was watching a repeat on AS the other night and it was the one where the Smith's had the block party and Stan thought the neighbors were terrorists. A side story was Roger and Steve crashing into a local generator and Roger crapped out a block of gold with diamonds. There was then a side story of a worker who found it and killed his friend and was planning on running away with his girlfriend, who he caught over the phone screwing around on him.
My question is, did anything ever come of that side story about the gold and diamond encrusted crap or was it just a one time side story?
Give me a Sandwich and a Douchebag and there's nothing I can't accomplish!

This is "American Dad" so I'll fix the thread icon (but not the title) ;-)
This was my all-time favourite bit of the show because it was played totally straight, as drama, and not for laughs. And it was GOLD.
Because of this, and because I overpaid for the DVD set on the day it came out (Best Buy has it on sale for something like $15 this week - and may still - hey, so does Amazon (The W at Amazon) so order it now and give us a nickel) I know from the commentary that they are planning to continue this at some time, but now that their standards are so high ONLY for writing this particular bit, mind you, it's been delayed a few times. Maybe/hopefully the new season.
What up? It's a light week but heavy on QUALITY. Well....there's a high percentage of movies you've actually heard of coming out Tuesday. Let's put it that way. The numbers: 176 DVD, 30 Blu-ray, 1 UMD!
