Why did Jericho have the Miz-mic at the beginning? Why did Reigns fist-bump Jericho?
I got a good chuckle out of Jericho trying to put himself over as someone who could eliminate Brock.
Wasn’t expecting to see the Wyatts show up at the end. Appreciate the effort in building up a third of the Rumble field as a top tier, rather than just two people.

Reigns and Jericho's mic work in the opening segment was cringe worthy but Rusev saved it by telling a hilarious story about throwing people out of the bus just to get to school. It really is a shame the way the WWE destroyed him the last ten months because he was a awesome heel monster and if left alone could have been a good wrestle mania matchup for Lesnar or The Undertaker.
Owens bashing Saxton the whole match was awesome and man is Saxton brutal like Michael Cole when he just started bad, but not heel Michael Cole bad.
I loved Stephanie blasting Jericho for his "original material" I really hope he's just playing a parody of himself and not this out of touch btw where did he disappear to after Brock and Reigns started throwing down?
The crowd was dead all night and even Heyman couldn't wake them fully up though Reigns did get booed after he speared Brock. The League of Jobbers couldn't have looked weaker after Brock took a spear and still destroyed those geeks without breaking a sweet they are almost Aces and Eights bad.
The Wyatts taking out Brock and Reigns was a nice surprise and I loved how the super underrated Harper took down both Brock and Reigns and Bray picking up the scraps. I'm guessing that we'll get Wyatt vs Brock at wrestlemania with Wyatt losing yet again in his quest to go on a Wrestlemania losing streak that'll rival The Undertaker's Wrestlemania winning streak.
Oh and one more thing neither Ambrose or Owens should be in the Rumble match as they should be selling the effects of a last man standing match.

I'm sure that the WWE will know what to do with a Wyatt Main Event Push. I mean, look what happened with Undertaker/Kane.
And Reigns still needs new friends.

I would buy an exhausted Ambrose beating Owens, only to be told backstage by Steph that he's a) in the Royal Rumble and b) is the #2 entry. Roman and Dean fist-bump instead of fight and then the story of the Rumble becomes Butch Reigns and the (exhausted) Ambrose Kid trying to last all the way to the end. Having Ambrose alongside Roman could also cut down on the crowd's inevitable booing of Reigns' iron man act. | Horsemen4ever

I'd rather see them steal an idea from an indie show I was at where the two guys in a no count out match fought out of the "arena" and disappeared to the back. The promoter declares that they can't expect the crowd to sit around bored, but aren't authorized to give them access to the rest of the building (it was a church, if I remember correctly) so they just started the next match. The main event was a royal rumble. Halfway through, the two guys from the no count out match fight back into the arena and just keep going at it in the middle of the rumble.

I expect Brock to somehow F5 all four of them at the same time and throw them out of the ring within half a minute of contact, because the Wyatts lose and lose big. They are the Social Outcasts with a fancier entrance and merchandise, at least as far as how their pushes go.

Watching Tyler Breeze on Raw makes me not want to see Vince again for a while. This is the man who pushed, to varying degrees, Rick Martel, Rick Rude, Lex Luger, and HBK. USA just got SmackDown. You'd think they would balk at Hunter ensuring the belt doesn't get handed to a ref until April. The only way Champ Hunter works is if he designates an in-ring proxy or splits the belts again, and both ideas are horrible.
Has the Authority offered anything to the lucky guy who dumps Reigns over the ropes? A title shot? A bonus? If not, that says outright that he's the last elimination. | andy1278

First, I think it is bad that a lot of us are, very possibly correctly, telegraphing that HHH is going to come out of the Rumble with the belt. No hints have been made to this on the shows, but it seems kind of obvious. Outside of Brock, who has an actual chance at winning the match besides Roman or final boss HHH? Sheamus maybe if they want to go down that road again, but that's about it. It's the most obvious Rumble in years.
Zero defenses. Probably one or two bait and switches where Roman goes through a gauntlet of let's say the League of Nations, only to be beaten down before his title match happens on Raw.
And there is zero reward, outside of winning the title of course, for dumping Roman. At least last time when we did this story with Vince and Austin, Vince put an actual bounty out on Austin for whoever eliminated him from the match. That would give the faces at least a reason to try to cheat and dump Roman, instead of honorably fighting off the bad forces to help him. | Spiraling_Shape

The WWE Title is only traditionally defended on PPV these days, so he only really "has to" defend it once.
Very rarely is the title defended on TV. Things like Reigns/Sheamus the night after TLC are rare and only done to bump ratings. The only other time I can think of this year was Rollins/Brock the night after WM31 and that was mostly an angle.
My guess, if they go the HHH as Champion route, is that Fast Lane is Reigns/Lesnar to see who faces HHH at WrestleMania 32 with HHH defending the belt against a lameduck challenger like Jericho.
It's entirely possible that Reigns retains at the Rumble and they figure out a way to make HHH challenge for the belt at WrestleMania 32 (maybe he wins a tournament or something, or beats a returning Daniel Bryan). Ideally, we could just skip the whole HHH winning the Rumble thing, because I don't like the idea of taking the title off of Reigns yet again after he's won the belt. But, they gotta get heat on the heel, you know? And that heel has to be HHH because they feel the need to continually place Reigns against people who won't get cheered against him.
This, of course, will blow up in WWE's face when HHH gets cheered against the shoot corporate champion Reigns. We all lose in the end, because HHH's track record of WrestleMania main events post-WM22 isn't so great. | Matt Tracker

I'll be more specific: Do we think Hunter is going to wrestle on TV before Mania? Age and a worrying spate of injuries should keep him from doing much in the ring aside from taking off the jacket and throwing punches. |
