WWE had it's first quarter business update conference call today. There's really not much to get out from how they're actually doing - WrestleMania isn't included, they're not talking about the TV situation still, and they will announce the number of subscribers every three months but nothing new about that today.
They did talk about how they plan to get the subscriber numbers up. Quoting that recap
Details of these initiatives included mentioning new shows (such as new season Tough Enough), promising the international WWE Network rollout (should start in late 2014), adding WWE Network to more plaforms (XBOX One, Amazon Fire, SmartTVs), adding new features to WWE Network (bookmarking and playlist tools to highlight “favorite content”), and more marketing about the network.
(That international timeline has moved up a little from late 2014/early 2015 to straight late 2014.)
The Tough Enough part is probably the most interesting part here. There's no mention of exactly when it would air or anything change in the format - the only thing we know at this point is the show is coming back again sometime this year for a sixth season.
I think all I need is Austin doing the evaluations again and creating more reaction gifs. I am kind of curious if they'll find even more people, or fill it out from NXT people who aren't on TV yet (but could by the time it airs.) But what do you want to see?
("Big" Andy Levine is wrestling in Puerto Rico. I knew you were going to ask, here to help. I saw him on TV this weekend, he just turned heel again.)
