| #1 Posted on 10.11.16 0932.56 Reposted on: 10.11.23 0933.38 | Hey guys, I'm surprisingly not in the mood for jocularity, so I'm ducking out on doing any kind of real recapping this week. Sorry. Instead, here's the Q&D results if anybody feels like talking about this (honestly, pretty good) show.
The AoP advanced over DIY thanks to interference by Paul Ellering and the Revival.
Tye Dillinger and Bobby Roode take turns talking shit about each other.
TM 61 manage a quick roll-up to advance over SAnitY.
Ember Moon hit her top rope stunner to beat Rachel Ellering.
Finally, the contract was signed for Nakamura v. Samoa Joe. Joe was being a real prick, so Nakamura just beat the shit out of all the security guards to prove...something?
Anyhoo, sorry again for the lack anything actually entertaining. See y'all for Takeover. Promote this thread! | | Chumpstain

Nakamura apparently didn't appreciate that, so he took out the security guards to remove any excuses keeping Joe from coming down. Joe still didn't want any.
Rachael Ellering has now been rebranded as Rachael Evers, an homage to her trainer Lance Storm by using his real last name. There's apparently an Ellering quota that needs to be maintained, and Paul has seniority in it. I don't remember, did they already give Tessa Blanchard a new last name? | texasranger9

Still Blanchard last time we saw her, I think, but Rachael's been Evers for a little while now. Makes sense to me since her dad's doing something completely unrelated, and this makes it easier to distance her from him. Didn't know about the Lance Storm connection, though, so that's a neat bit of trivia. | dMp

| #5 Posted on 13.11.16 1416.16 Reposted on: 13.11.23 1420.04 | DIY and AoP was a pretty solid match. And I totally forgot that The Revival could (would, should) play a role in the finish. I actually started believing that DIY could pull it off and then nooooooo! Awesome stuff.
This was Ember Moon's best match so far imo. Her moves seemed to have a little extra or so it felt. I liked it.
TM61 winning seemed a foregone conclusion after the Authors won their match. I like how Sanity is growing into their roles. ALexander Wolff especially seemed more out there and not "he's supposed to be weird"
The Roode & Tye promos were both solid. Should be a fun show opener.
Nice to see a contract signing where they don't fight. But even then tables got destroyed. Oh and best of all was that even after Nakamura destroyed the security and dared Joe to come in, Regal still had the presence of mind to sign the contract too.
