Dean's one of my favorites, so I'm elated that not only did he win, but he came out on top of both Shield guys finally, which was overdue.
Also, Rollins, who was booked as a Honky Tonk Man style heel all of last year wound up being the guy to end Reigns' title run. And he did it clean (ref bump didn't matter, even though I know Reigns will play that card).
I don't know if Dean will hold onto it for long, and I'm sure Reigns will win it back at some point, but at the very least, this is a good sign that Vince is changing course with the looming brand split and the nixing of a long title reign for Reigns.
Can't wait to see those side plates.
EDIT: I also really dug the poetry of Dean hitting Seth from behind with the briefcase like Seth did with the chair two years ago. Did the announcers harp on that spot at all to make it obvious? I didn't catch it. Thought it was a nice subtle touch of comeuppance for Seth.

| #6 Posted on 20.6.16 0603.20 Reposted on: 20.6.23 0603.21 | Money in the Bank was kind of a weird show. You had some genuinely great stuff. Cena/Styles was fun, I liked the tag title match a lot, the world title match and Dean's cash-in were great, and the actual MitB match was the best one in years (btw, nobody's been talking about Cesaro's incredible springboard corkscrew European uppercut, and that's a crime because it was the coolest spot in a match full of cool spots). But there were so many matches that just felt like they were in the way of the stuff we actually wanted to see. Ziggler/Corbin, for example, have wrestled so many times already, why couldn't this one be finished on RAW? Or several months ago? It's just that, there's a lot of filler, when there's absolutely no need for it. | Lexus

New Day has mastered the double entendre, John Cena has a t-shirt based on the Pabst Blue Ribbon label, and your WWE World Heavyweight Champion wrestles in a t-shirt and jeans, uses heel tactics as a face, and has a logo derived from the symbol for anarchy.
Show was good, but I fell asleep midway through the MitB match (not due to the match being boring, I was super beat and couldn't stay awake for steak and Santa Claus). I REALLY wish I could have stayed up for a bit longer.

Ambrose needs two things if he's actually going to be more than a one-day placeholder - a real entrance (complete with entrance music that is more than a generic 10-second loop with a motorcycle vroom), and a better finisher. I'm also kind of disappointed we didn't get a little more out of Rollins/Ambrose. Rollins sold himself as not being that out of it, even after the briefcase shot, and should have kicked out of the first Dirty Deeds (a la Cena/Edge).

In hindsight, they made a pretty big deal of that moment in hype packages for this year's match.
I'm still stunned they pulled the trigger. What a moment. You can argue it's "too late" or whatever, but they did it and I marked out hard. I spent the entire span of the cash-in certain that Reigns was going to cause a DQ, but he vanished into the ether.
The first half of the show was a muddled mess, but everything from Cena/Styles on picked the show up and carried the load. (The Rusev/Titus match wasn't much, but Rusev's interaction with Titus' kids was EVERYTHING.) | Spiraling_Shape

Apparently the main event was so late so they could time it out after the NBA Game 7 ended, but I'd like to thank Vince for saving the MITB match itself until immediately after Game of Thrones ended as well.

Of course if Seth is a returning hero that he should have been then I guess you don't get as hyped about Ambrose winning in the end.
I thought the show as a whole was kind of meh, but I've felt that way about a lot lately when watching WWE.
It's going to be breakfast for dinner eating CRAZY on Raw tonight! Hopefully they just pay Night Ranger for the rights to 'Lunatic Fringe', it's a dumb nickname and alright song, but things are crazy now so why not.

I thought that there was a chance it could all happen, but just thought it seemed unlikely they would go for it on this card with another one set before Summerslam. Maybe they are just trying to make every card have Mania worthy matches to promote them? Hopefully they will save the Shield match for SS as it will seem a lot better than on whatever the next card is. Doubt they will be able to resist it though.
MITB was a good match with some great spots. Owens is always entertaining, both pre, post and during matches. Didn't like the opening tag match that much and the Nattie heel turn seems pointless and will lead to nothing.
Cena and Styles was very good. It looked like AJ was hitting hard and rocking Cena at times. Would have been nice for a clean win, but Cena rarely does those so was always unlikely. Hopefully Styles can beat him again. | Packman V2

Granted he spent most of the match taking offense from Styles, but the times he was getting some offense in, the moves came off awkwardly. Also, couldn't help but notice he spent a lot of time calling out spots while facing the hard camera.
Also, would have been okay if Sheamus and Crews stayed on the kick off show if it would have helped keep the show closer to the 3 hour mark and not 3 1/2. | pieman
