Sansa meets with Littlefinger where she gives her best speech to date. She almost has Brie kill him, but doesn't for some reason. Littlefinger does tell her about Blackfish taking back the Riverlands. Which is cool, because Davos has no idea how to beat Ramsay. Sansa lies a bit where she got the intel, but Wolf wear for Jon and her. She sends Brie to Riverlands to make sure its ok.
Tyrion makes a deal Red Woman 2 to have the Lord of Light on their side. Varys is not a fan of it and less so when she tells him about his orgin. Ser Jerc reveals his Greyscale to Danny. She sends him to quest for a cure as she takes her new army to Mereen.
In typical Weteros fashion the masses elect a crazy person. Yuna's claim is thwarted by her uncle who admitted to killing the king. So, of course he becomes king. Yuna and Theon leave with the fleet, but Uncle will have a thousand ships by episode 6. He also thinks he can marry Danny. Again crazy person.
Bran fucks up. I mean really fucks. Yet, he was destinied to. Bran sees that the Children made the Walkers. He also goes rogue to see the White Walkers who see him and brand him. The branding allows the Walkers in who kill the Three eyed raven, Sumner and Hodor. Hodor is holding a door to save Bran. Bran also in the past who sees Hodor have seizures while saying hold the door which becomes Hodor.
Arya goes to a shitty play and I truly believe she is in the worse danger.

| #2 Posted on 24.5.16 1054.20 Reposted on: 24.5.23 1055.47 | Alternate episode title: "Whatever Hodored, Hodored" (though to be most accurate, I guess it might be "Whatever Hodor, Hodor"). And holy crap, I just saw that this episode was directed by Lost's Jack Bender. There are a couple of explicit Lost parallels: the causal time loop where Bran was "the incident" that transformed Wylis to Hodor, and the Night King's army not being able to enter the cave. Now the question is, what else is Bran responsible for?
I'm so glad I managed to avoid spoilers before watching this Monday night. The second Meera began shouting "Hold the door!", my jaw dropped (and stayed dropped) and eventually the tears started. My absolute favorite scene of the show, to date.
I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question. Did Winter exist before The Children created the Night King? The setting where that event took place was not winter-esque. I'm just wondering if Winter was an intended consequence of creating the White Walkers. If so, that's a good way of dealing with your enemies - freezing them out. But also a good way of hurting the "green" life (trees, vegetation, etc.) that The Children worship. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
