I am not sure it is going to do or be anything but my son is a bit of a nerd and I think it will please him. Promote this thread! | | Dutchie

It's in reference to an old Macho Man promo that amuses my boyfriend to no end. This is the video (youtube.com) (embedding on an iPad is beyond me). He'll be ridiculously confused, then get it and laugh while reenacting the promo, after which this shirt (barbershopwindow.com) will be gifted.
There's also the super-miniature bottle of perfume for my mother. She's starting to either not notice or not care how much perfume she applies. Her favorite is a ridiculously strong perfume that was discontinued 20 years ago or so but still turns up on eBay. I got her a 450ml bottle that is about half the size of my pinky. No choice but to ration. (Not her only present, I'm not completely mean). | Kevintripod

For those who are not latin taxonomy nerds, that's plague bacteria. I have a friend who's a veterinarian, including serving as the town vet for a community up north of here. And they had a plague outbreak in the feral & outdoor kitty population this year. She got to spearhead that whole activity. (Coordinating local vets, the town council, state agencies & the CDC isn't so much her thing. Diagnostics & treatment is.) She spotted it right away, & 7 out of 8 of her patients are fine now! (One was just too far along when he was brought in.)
So I thought that was a good choice for her 2015. :-) | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
