We leave the whole "Is Glenn dead or alive" discussion behind for a week (He's alive BTW) to spend 90 minutes finding out how Morgan became a master of non violence and being in touch with his kind side.
I enjoyed the episode a great deal, took me back to the season where we had two separate groups and got to see two separate story lines playing out in alternating episodes. Getting to know the character and getting to understand his humanity was refreshing, especially after the chaos of the first few episodes.
Morgan trying to convince the lone remaining living (in Alexandria at least) Wolf to change his ways fell on deaf ears, but set up the seeds for him to see things Rick's way and get on board with self preservation.
Things are going to go right back to helter skelter next week, but this was a great piece of story telling which made us remember why the people in this universe are worth caring about.

The ending camera shots of the landscape and the light play reminded me of T-Dog's passing, which might be an intentional parallel to a higher plane.
Seemingly Morgan now has a pet walker which provides him with a double secret (telling his story to someone doomed to turn while locked up). Weird.
This reminded me of 'Lost' which would also give these bottle episodes in the middle of parceled out, weekly revelations and center tightly on one or two people. Then we go back to the big story. | lotjx

I do think Morgan surviving all of this maybe the best option. Someone who still believes in hope into the new world. 1. While I appreciate the back story, was it ever discussed why Morgan left probably the most well fortified place in America? The apartment he was living in when Rick and Michonne found him was almost walker proof. It was quiet and isolated. No noises to draw walkers in - at least not in a herd. Why leave?
2. How long was he at the house with Eastman? Did not seem very long and if so, how does he learn aikido in such a short amount of time? To the point where he "masters" it?
3. And lastly, am I to believe that Morgan would try to convert one Wolf for that long while he knew there were others potentially around to strike again? And no one for that whole time was looking for Morgan or calling his name?
This is the only show with so many glaring holes that I overlook and continue to watch. If this were any other show, I would have bailed a long time ago. | The Guinness.

1. Morgan, while going on a crazy rant monologue, kicks his lantern over. The scene ends in flames apparently burning the place down. This happened right at the beginning of his story-telling.
2. Yeah, it didn't seem that long did it? I don't think that Morgan walked away an aikido master though. Really, the martial arts move-sets were really just some motions with the staff. The main takeaway is that he more or less walked away with a new life philosophy that he would work to embrace. He'll be conflicted by it as we continue to move forward. That's what his story was about though.
3. With the captured wolf, we really don't know how much time has passed because of how the timelines have intersected in the first 3 episodes. The episodes have been so fast paced that only about two hours have passed since the wolf raid started at Alexandria. The wolf's blood on his head was still wet, so not much time could have passed since Morgan knocked him out. it just felt forever because of the 90 minute episode.
All in all, great but unnecessary episode. This episode was the Terrance and Phillip episode that South Park pulled when we just really wanted to know "who is Eric Cartman's father?"
