...meh.
I'm sure that some of these would be fun new discoveries, but looking at this list, there are only 15 songs I'd want. Plus everything I've said before about having to buy an Xbox One just for this, and losing keyboards and pro guitar (which I rarely played anyway, but) and custom songs. Plus I am trying to not spend money on stupid things (or, really, I am trying to spend money on a different class of stupid thing - let me tell you about next year's dumb Toronto trip sometime). So I think I am foregoing this. Regretfully.
There are also some pre-order exclusives, but I'm sure they'll all come as DLC eventually. For the record, I'd prefer the Amazon pack solely for DFA1979:
Amazon preorder exclusives:
- Alabama Shakes - Don't Wanna Fight
- Breaking Benjamin - Failure
- Death from Above 1979 - Trainwreck 1979
- The Pretty Reckless - Follow Me Down
PSN pre-order exclusives:
- All That Remains - Divide
- Blitz Kids - Run For Cover
- Bring Me the Horizon - Throne
- Dead Sara - Mona Lisa
- Duran Duran - The Reflex
- Janis Joplin - Move Over
- Of Mice & Men - Would You Still Be There
- Oh Honey - Sugar You
- Pantera - Cowboys from Hell (Live from Monsters in Moscow Festival)
- Seasick Steve - Summertime Boy

I don't see a good popular party song that everyone is going to want play; Bon Jovi, Enter Sandman like song that newbies will want to play.
I do see some cool "weird/possibly challenging songs" like Cake..
But Metropolis pt 1? I am almost sold and I wasn't even interested before this post. | KJames199

However, I don't have a PS4 or Xbone, so I'm out of luck anyway. Us poor Wii U losers get nothing. That's fine, fine, I'll just keep playing the old version. | J. Kyle

Well I'm officially old.
Still probably going to break down and buy this before I get a PS4 or a Wii U. | Heims

The drum part on the new Lightning Bolt song is going to be worth the price of admission all by itself. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
