Here in another country on the other side of the continent (TWICE the irrelevance), where it's still illegal but not generally prosecuted in amounts less than 1/4lb, you'll pay CAD$220/oz for fairly decent product; so say folks I know (not that I no longer partake, but since I had kids my priorities and extracurricular activities have changed rather dramatically). | AWArulz

If nothing else, you will be amused to know there's a pot chain called Starbuds.

Part (a) I conveniently neglected, and although I'm sure there's a boatload of subtle and not-so-subtle differences between state and federal labor law, the simple fact of (a) almost certainly gives a legal leg to stand on. Or at least defend a case.
Part (b) on the other hand, seems awfully squidgy to me. It's one thing for jobs where safety (of the individual or the public) is involved, and I understand why testing for substances, legal or not, is warranted and dismissal for a positive test while on the job is justified. But if you're going to allow folks to drink alcohol when they're away from work but not smoke weed, that's a massive double-standard in a state where weed is every bit as legal as alcohol. | AWArulz
