NXT CHAMPIONSHIP LADDER MATCH
Finn Balor (C) VS Kevin Owens
I was so happy to see the stipulation added to this match. NXT does gimmick matches right - that is, super rarely - so it means something when it happens, plus, as good as they were, this is a match we've seen twice already. I'm going to take Finn Balor to retain, but the last time Kevin Owens fought a new babyface NXT champion on a Takeover special, no one thought the title would change hands that quick either. (Speaking of which, I wouldn't be shocked to see Sami Zayn show up and cost Owens the match - probably keeping him from winning under nefarious circumstances or something to that effect. I know he's not back in the ring for a while yet, but it doesn't feel right to have an NXT special without Sami out there.)
NXT WOMENS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Sasha Banks (C) VS Bayley
The most emotionally invested I've been in a WWE match since...HBK/Flair at Mania? Foley/HHH in 2000? The last time Bayley fought for the title on PPV? One of those. That contract signing on Wednesday was masterful from both women. Bayley has to win here - not just because Sasha has moved on, but because I don't think my heart can take the alternative. (Bonus Prediction: This match goes on last. They're already billing it as a co-main event and if it's ever going to happen, it's going to happen now.)
NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Blake & Murphy (C) VS The Vaudevillains
I think Blake & Murphy pull it out. Their act with Alexa is starting to really take off and they need the belts more than the wacky comedy tag team. Besides, the wacky comedy tag team they need to drop them to are Enzo and Cass. (I do like the thought of Leva Bates/Blue Pants joining up as the equalizer against Alexa Bliss.)
Tyler Breeze VS Jushin Thunder Liger
A really tough call. As much of an icon as Liger is - and I in no way mean this as a disparaging comment against him because HOLY SHIT JUSHIN LIGER - there's no good reason to put an old man in his one WWE appearance over the best homegrown prospect in the Performance Center. They wrestle the shit out of each other and then Tyler Breeze wins clean with the Beauty Shot and moves on to be Finn's next opponent. (I'd like to say "and beats him" but probably not.)
Samoa Joe VS Baron Corbin
This is a sort of similar situation to the last match - except that they've got to have somewhat bigger plans for Joe than this (I'd like to see at least a brief main roster run in 2016 - Joe/Cesaro would be a nice Wrestlemania midcard match, I think. I think the technical term is slobberknocker.). Plus Baron Corbin is, you know, the worst. (At least right now he is. I remember when Bull Dempsey was the worst and now it's A GODDAMNED CRIME that he isn't on this show.) Samoa Joe wins via murder.
Apollo Crews VS Tye Dillinger
If exactly which psuedo-jobber is jobbing here constitutes a spoiler, I apologize. Obviously, Apollo Crews wins and looks incredible doing it, winning with whatever they're going to call the Uhaa Combination now (and someone at Full Sail better be brainstorming NIGHT AND DAY to come up with a pun as perfectly awful as that one, dammit!) He goes on to be the next big thing and is the guy who takes down the demon when he beats Finn Balor next year. Huge run on top of NXT in 2016 and then heads to the main roster, where he becomes a dancing preacher and teams with R-Truth on Main Event. Prove me wrong, Vince. The double-gold standard is that match, but the performers get you to doubt that outcome anyways with their superb storytelling. This card is stacked with the former; we'll have to wait until Saturday to see if there are any of the later. Basically locked in are:

Blake & Murphy, although I would love to see the Vaudevillains win. I love that the 'villains' are the faces in this match.
I am in love with Bayley. It broke my heart when she lost the championship match against Charlotte when she broke out her current theme song and the special arm streamers. Seeing her beat Charlotte to get the shot against Becky actually evoked an emotional reaction for me. I can't wait to see the end of this story. THERE AIN'T NO STOPPING US NOW.

And I'm emotionally invested. Match of the night, Sasha's NXT farewell, Bayley's breakout match. The ladies go on last. Bayley wins and we end show with streamers, Bayley crying with the belt, fans hugging, and probably me crying for her.
NXT Title - I love both guys. That said, I'm not excited for this. It will be great and Finn will win. I'm ready for both men to move on.
Tag titles - Blue Pants seconds our heroes, who lose due to interference. Next challengers: Hype Bros.

I feel like they'll surely swerve one of the two title matches and this one seems more likely than the women's match. They clearly have a plan for Sasha Banks, not so much for Kevin Owens. I also rank this as my prediction most likely to be wrong.

As I said, they clearly have bigger plans for Sasha Banks. If this isn't the last match on the show, then I think they're going to regret it. Listening to Sasha Banks on Talk Is Jericho, it's obvious that she wants to main event a PPV. It's also obvious that she really loves Bayley and was bummed out that she didn't come up with the other three, so I think she's going to do everything in her power to show them Bayley deserves to be on the main roster and that the women deserve the main event slot.

Tyler Breeze VS Jushin Thunder Liger
Liger did an interview with New Japan about why he's wrestling this match. In short, he was at an ROH show and heard "Devi-chan" was wrestling nearby, so he went to see Finn Balor in person, thanks to Jason Albert getting him a front row ticket. Liger has also been friends with William Regal for nearly 30 years now. So Balor, Albert, and Regal asked him to do an NXT appearance and he agreed. It sounds like he's mostly interested in catching up with old friends. Combined with the fact that his win % this year is barely over 50%, I don't think he's too concerned with winning.

I'm honestly surprised it took this long to get Owens in a Ladder Match. With that said, I'll be SHOCKED if they let him pull out the "pile driver on a ladder" spot. Even if they don't, this has the makings of a classic. Balor retains and picks from an array of challengers, of which there will be plenty.

This has been masterfully booked and has the makings of the greatest feel-good moment since Daniel Bryan won at Wrestlemania last year... or the biggest heartbreak since Daniel Bryan had the rug pulled out from under him at Summerslam two years ago. I have to think they're going for the former here. Bayley wins the title and makes us all think of that old Rick Steiner win over the Varsity Club that warmed all of our hearts.

This has to be the end for the Dubstep Twins, who have held the belts SO much longer than they've had any right to. A Vaudevillain reign has so much fun written all over it and I have to believe they pull it out here.
Tyler Breeze VS Jushin Thunder Liger
If Balor retains, I really, REALLY have to think Breeze has finally earned his shot at the title. And he's going to earn it with an exclamation point with a potential classic against Liger. I say "potential," because it's ultimately going to depend on whether the 50-year-old Liger is game and whether he can work a WWE-style match.
Samoa Joe VS Baron Corbin
It shocks me that we're less than 6 months since Joe debuted and sold out the merchandise stand and yet he's already running in circles. Corbin's supposed to be the big monster heel pet project, but after months and months of the same schtick, I still find him dull as dishwater. Jobbing Joe would be an incredible waste and I'd have to think it's time to finally pull the plug on Corbin, but I get the sense that they're going the other way with this. Corbin wins.
Apollo Crews VS Tye Dillinger
Look, I get that they need an exhibition for Crews, but did they really have to pick Dillinger, who's finally onto something with his new Diamond Dallas Page "Perfect 10" gimmick? I feel for the guy. Regardless, Crews wins and the biggest question is what witty name they give his finisher. (I am also going with "Crews Control." Sometimes, the obvious answers are the best ones.)
