So I've been a pretty big proponent of "he's a weasel heel champ, he's not SUPPOSED to be booked strong," but there's "Rollins stole one! That sonofabitch Rollins had the tights!" and then there's tapping out clean in the middle of the ring, to your secondary champion, who is then made to look like the second coming of Jesus by the announce team to end the show. I have no idea where they think they're going with this.

I suppose this is to set up Rollins beating Cena (I can't think of any other way this makes sense), but even if he wins, I don't think it'll help him much. Not unless it's Brock "SummerSlam 2014" style. | PowerPB13

Paige/Sasha was a bit of a dream match for me, and it was really good. Now, I'd still love to see them get about ten more minutes on a bigger stage, but I'm not complaining about this for once.
I didn't get invested in the main event until Cena got his nose broken, but things really picked up at that point. I don't know what people are complaining about there - if you've been watching the show for the last year, you knew Cena was going to win clean and that Rollins was going to look like a chump, because that's what both guys have been doing independently of one another. There was no chance of either of them reversing course last night. Still, that superplex/suplex was pretty boss, and Cena finally actually hit his springboard stunner correctly. Watching John bleed all over the place was just a bonus.
Finally, who looked at 3 hours of RAW, 2 hours of Smackdown, an hour of NXT, 2 hours of NXT Takeover, and 3 hours of SummerSlam all in one week, and said, "you know what our problem is? Not enough hours of wrestling this week. Why don't we bump SummerSlam up to 4 hours?" | MoeGates

That looked more like a Superplex-to-Falcon-Arrow, if we're being nerdy. Regardless, way cool.
A pretty good match, but not Cena/Cesaro or Cena/Owens level really. Seth has such great offense, but since he's not allowed to look strong, he doesn't get to use it right, leaving his matches with some weird pacing and psychology. I also think he needs a more flexible "out of nowhere" finisher than the Pedigree. | oudom

Then PPV's could be for the secondary title and maybe mean something. But when you have a full time working WWE World Heavyweight Champion... and you make him tap out to the shitty STF on TV. Ugh.
Paige and Sasha was great but you can see them having conversations with each other calling spots. Paige ends up tapping out 2 weeks in a row to the Bank Statement I guess because they can't have Charlotte or Becky do that since they are debuting and have to look strong. | Torchslasher

Anyone else getting any flashbacks to Cena's feud with Ziggler a few years ago, where Cena pretty much won 95% of the matches, except for the one that counted (the PPV match that he lost by fluke interference), so it wound up helping nobody except John Cena? Yeah, it feels like we're about to get that here.

And speaking of ideas where people have no idea where they're going, exactly where is the New Day/PTP feud going now? Are they suddenly feuding over a meaningless Father of the Year (or whatever the hell it is) award that nobody cares about?
Isn't this part of the reason they HAVE titles? If there's no reason for them to feud, then have one side go "Hey, they have belts. We want them." When did that stop being enough?

Cena going over Rollins makes 100% sense in terms of teasing the fresh and groundbreaking idea that Rollins is vulnerable and definitely poised to lose this time and oh won't that make him be quiet and be sad. Whether that idea itself is good or not is open to interpretation.
Paige vs. Banks was more like it. If they force feed matches like that before quitting, it will get over. I'm not asking for a self-congratulatory "revolution," just that people who are good get to be good. This is not reinventing the wheel when AJ was a well-received act for years; the difference is that instead of one AJ occasionally getting to do something, you have like six AJs regularly getting to do something.
