No link? No source? No context? No references? I hate the way you start threads. #tomvejada

Lately, he was one of the more vocal ESPN voices criticizing the network for airing Heroes of the Dorm. I'm tired of him serving as a representative of the old guard the eSports needs to win out against, and him being gone is one more victory in that regard.
The article said something about him already having announced he was leaving the network, so I guess there was no point in ESPN defending him if he had one foot out the door.
I don't wish unemployment on anyone, but I hope that wherever he goes it is somewhere that never crosses into my attention. | wmatistic

His comments on Eddie should have gotten him fired. Instead, ESPN just letting him go early. He will fit right in at Fox with those comments. | DrewDewce

Same. Plus the 4Letter got rid of Mr. Tony for him (seemingly).

Didn't SVP & Russillo talk college football quite a bit? I assume Russillo will continue on with that. Plus there's the Paul Feinbaum show which is pretty much ALL college football talk, well if you like Alabama and/or SEC football mostly. The 4Letter podcasts those shows and Feinbaum is simulcast on the SEC Network. | wmatistic

They do sometimes, but I guess I miss how it was years ago when they had several shows talk a lot of college football. I can't even remember the guys name but he used to have a show on there and then went to host NASCAR stuff. Talked College ball all the time.
I can't deal with Feinbaum.
But I just tune to the College sports station these days. They have some crappy hosts at times, but at least I hear what I'm interested in. | DJ FrostyFreeze

| #9 Posted on 27.7.15 1053.07 Reposted on: 27.7.22 1053.13 | The fill-in hosts for this week are 2 local LA guys. They've been on the air here for about 20-ish years. I like the local everyday version of their show a lot. The "national" version is just ok. No word on what's happening with Cowherd's spot next week.
Speaking of Colin, the fill-in hosts keep reminding us that they are only fill-in hosts for the week, but almost ZERO mention of who they're filling in for. I guess that's sort of standard procedure for ESPN, but still kind of weird. | StaggerLee
