Reposted on: 5.7.22 0829.01 | There are two issues I have one is the gameplay. My gamer kryptonite is driving shit. Whether it be cars or starships or tanks. So, my ability to drive the Batmobile is limited and you pretty much needed for everything. It also handles like a nervous cat when you drive it. I can get over that, but honestly that is the newest feature. Everything else is same old same old. There is nothing new. The same stuff you did in Arkham you can do now. There are some nice double team spots, but they are few and far between.
The story is dark and prolonged. Barbara Gordon kills herself with a gun midway through the game. Its is awful. You are also infected with Joker's virus. So, you see Joker as some sorta Six from BattleStar. He says some insane shit to you that is pretty nuts. You also have to contend with Arkham Knight's taunts which that of a child. Which once you see a sign that says Robinson, you have figured out who it is.
The game throws Hush at you and it takes three seconds beat to beat him. It throws Harley at you and it takes twenty minutes of fighting her minions and one double team to take her out. So, two big bad guys take seconds to beat, but it takes forever to get to the other ones. Riddler for example after going through nine trails to free Catwoman, you need a weapon from Arkham City to get past a door. What that weapons is and how you get it, I have no idea. Its one thing to keep you a step away from the Arkham Knight, but you are a step behind all the villains. So, I am 50% through the game and the only two villains I have beaten were insane simple. I should have gotten at least Riddler or Two-Face by now instead I am running around doing more car shit. | JST
