With Fish not being cleared to go to Canada they made due with a handicap match and gave O'Reilly plenty of offense until the Addiction got themselves dqed. After the match it was announcedthat the Addiction would face Fish and O'Reilly at the next ppl in a no dq match for the tag titles.
Liger vs Dalton Castle was a really good match and fun as hell and I'm amazed how well Liger moves at 50 years old, he's not what he used to be, but he hasn't lost too many steps, which is amazing when you look at how immobile Muta is. Castle's entrance is epic and I love how Liger had fun with Castle's boys in the middle of the match. Liger went over with a brain buster after Castle kicked out of the liger bomb.
Cheeseburger vs Brutal Bob was a waste of time and Cheeseburger didn't look like I expected as he's 130 pounds soaking wet. Brutal Bob is just brutal and doesn't belong on the roster. The crowd did love Cheeseburger though.bthe match was a no contest with Bob putting Cheeseburger through a table.
The Bullet Club vs The Kingdom never really got going though it was not a bad brawl, and ended up in a dq as well so three non finishes in one night, which isn't good. Maria looked great and the crowd was very into the Bullet Club.
All in all, the show was a step down from last weeks show and the biggest highlight was the fun Liger-Castle match.

This was as much fun for totally different reasons as any match on Lucha Underground this week. Liger ate the tilt-a-whirl facebuster like a champ. I love Dalton. | BigDaddyLoco

The Bullet Club vs The Kingdom needed a lot more time. I've become a huge Kingdom mark this past year and a half. Poor Taven died twice in the same match.
Dalton Castle vs Liger was great fun. Castle is one of the best new acts around and just having Liger around and on my tv again feels right.

Kind of strike 2 for RoH with me, at least as far as the weekly shows go. Just seeing Maria almost made up for it - she remains one of the most beautiful women ever associated with pro wrestling.
The Liger-Dalton Castle match was okay, for a match between an out-of-shape legend and an over-the-top stereotype. I'm not sure if Dalton's routine is homophobic or not - it reads that way, but he might be a babyface? This was my first exposure, I couldn't tell what to make of him.
Is Mark Briscoe actually over? Good god, that promo made me want to rip my ears -and- my eyes out. He's...some sort of chicken? What?
The Addiction were good, of course, but this was all angle and, frankly, I thought could have used more of their wit.
The announcers still suck.
I'm going to keep watching, because I'm a wrestling nerd, but a couple more shows like this and I'll probably save the space on my DVR. | CEOIII

They're trying to do "scrawny underdog face" with Cheeseburger, and he does have the one aspect that makes that gimmick work: he sells really well. But they have to drop the damn name. Is Charlie Haas getting a cut of his T-shirt sales?
Castle isn't any more homophobic than Adrian Street. "Flamboyant" =/= "gay.
The shows are going to get better, especially next week. I think (emphasis on THINK) we get Briscoes v. Rainmaker/King of Strong Style*. If THAT match sucks, something is wrong in the space/time continuum.
*I refer to them by their nickhames cause I don't want to misspell their actual names, and I KNOW I will, especially KOSS. | Tenken347

He's doing a (really good) Freddy Mercury impression. Dalton was the only real highlight for me on this show, although I see a lot of potential in a lot of places. What the ROH tv show needs, in my opinion, is tighter focus and a little more emphasis on the cameras. As a tv show, it tends to ramble, and the talent spends more time worrying about the live crowd than thinking about the much larger audience at home. I'm not saying that you ignore the live crowd, but I think some of these guys are kind of missing the fact that they're on a tv show. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
