Pepsi might be bringing back Crystal Pepsi, a popular drink from the 1990s.
The clear-colored beverage, which tasted like regular Pepsi, debuted in 1992 in a couple of test markets and rolled out nationwide a year later.

But after a couple years, it quietly disappeared from stores.

The drink might be making a comeback now thanks to an online campaign begging for its return. The campaign was launched by Kevin Strahle, who has more than 1.2 million subscribers to his YouTube channel.

I bought the Surge...not sure I'd buy the Crystal Pepsi.

I didn't realize Crystal Pepsi was regarded as popular...

Also, this should be updated as well... (nbc.com)

This was the FIRST thing I thought of when I heard the news. And having seen that commercial before ever having tried the stuff... I never have and probably never will.

Now I just need Pitch Black, Pepsi Blue, and Coke Blak back.

And they will all fail again.

I remember that Crystal Pepsi was supposed to taste like regular Pepsi without the coloring. But it didn't...it had a medicine-like taste.

Don't care if I ever see it again.

They need to bring back New Coke while they're at it. At least in the Freestyle machines. There are people my age who don't remember what it tasted like.

Sounds good.

Surprised Pepsi hasn't made their own Freestyle machine.

If they do that, they also need to bring back original Mr. Pibb.
