Reposted on: 2.6.22 1209.44 | That was a fast hour, very entertaining I thought. I like Stone Cold's podcasts because there doesn't seem to be a limit on things they can talk about like Jericho's. They even brought up CM Punk. Heyman asked Stone Cold about Cena's bounce Stunner. Love the stories Heyman was telling about traveling on the road and Rick Rude. I tweeted that the Superkick used to be a finisher and now everyone uses it (just watch Elimination Chamber and see how many people Superkicks as a regular move). Stone Cold brought up the DDT but Heyman said back in the day Rocky Johnson's finisher was a Dropkick and Harley Race was a regular Suplex. Heyman talked about how he could give Mark Henry a headlock as a finisher but if everyone sells it and protects it, it would go over and the first time someone doesn't tap or breaks out of it at a major event, it would be meaningful. Lots of stories about him writing Smackdown and getting into it with Vince. Things got real intense at the final moments when Heyman asked Stone Cold if he would wrestle Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32 in Dallas. Austin would whoop his ass in a "Texas Death Match" and got all serious and intimidated Heyman. Heyman tried to play it off by reading TXT messages he was getting because Austin wanted him to call Brock and find out if he would do it. | Promote this thread! |             | Stefonics

That was the 55 minute master class. They knew what they were doing and where they were going from the start; the whole thing was a sales pitch. John from the neighborhood could've told me, Austin-Lesnar at WM32 and I would try to find 50 things wrong with it. But after 10 minutes of those two going back and forth about it, I'm sold. I would spend a large sum of money to see Austin vs. Lesnar in a Texas Death Match at WrestleMania 32. That's how Vince sells out the JerryLand.
Heyman does a spot-on Dusty, a decent Austin, a great Vince, but a terrible JR. He's also right about the Henry Headlock. Austin is right about the Springboard Stunner and the DDT. | oudom

Is that the fault of Jericho or is that a benefit of interviewing Paul Heyman? I get the feeling that anyone could ask Heyman anything at any time. That doesn't guarantee you'll get an honest answer (especially if you're asking where your $200 is) but I don't think he'd ever take offense to a question.
If anyone hasn't seen the Ladies and Gentleman, My Name Is Paul Heyman documentary on the WWE Network, I highly encourage you do so ASAP. It goes into great detail about Heyman breaking into the business, how WWE was paying ECW for talent use during the '90s, and the battles that Heyman had with Vince during his writing days.
It's probably the most fascinating wrestling documentary I've ever seen. | Mr Shh

In response to the proposed match with Brock, Austin was literally in the process of telling Paul "why would you waste all of the great momentum you built just to lose to me?" That's a crazy thing to hear on a WWE show.
