Reposted on: 16.5.22 1551.14 | Meltzer has been saying Joe was headed to NXT since shortly after he left TNA. Everyone assumed it was happening in March/April, as soon as his short return run in ROH ended. Joe wasn't taking any bookings at that point, and then suddenly started to take them again into June. Meltzer is now saying the plan is for him to be part of a group starting in June, and the delay was to get medical stuff cleared up.
It's not completely impossible Joe could show up on the NXT special as a surprise replacement for one of the injured guy, but it's only like a 2% chance of it happening. That's why his name might have come up - he's also posting photos of himself looking in much better shape than in TNA. | BigDaddyLoco
