New Fall show descriptions:
LIFE IN PIECES – single-camera comedy focusing on the lives of three siblings and their parents, told through four separate short stories each episode. With James Brolin, Dianne Wiest and Colin Hanks.
SUPERGIRL – From the guy behind Arrow, The Flash and the new DC show coming to CW. Glee’s Melissa Benoist is Supergirl. Also with Calista Flockhart.
LIMITLESS – show based on the 2011 movie of the same name, about a guy who uses his enhanced mental capabilities resulting from taking a miracle drug to help the FBI solve cases. CODE BLACK – reads like a reimagining of ER. With Marcia Gay Harden and Luis Guzman.
ANGEL FROM HELL – Abrasive Jane Lynch claims to be Maggie Lawson’s guardian angel. Also with Kevin Pollak and Kyle Bornheimer.
New shows coming later:
CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS – spinoff that focuses on a division of the FBI that helps Americans who are victims of crimes while abroad. With Gary Sinise.
RUSH HOUR – based on the films. Brought to you by Bill Lawrence and the team behind the movies.
Existing shows returning later in the season include PERSON OF INTEREST (only a 13 episode order, however), THE ODD COUPLE, MIKE & MOLLY, 2 BROKE GIRLS, UNDERCOVER BOSS.
CBS airs SUPER BOWL 50 in February.
The original CSI is cancelled and will depart with a two-hour movie in September, with William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger returning (Ted Danson will relocate his character to CSI: CYBER). Promote this thread! | | StaggerLee

In fact, the only thing I can remember watching on CBS regularly for the past decade or so is football and How I Met Your Mother.

That's about it, though.
I have been watching Battle Creek and would have liked to see it hang around maybe as a summer series.

Damn damn damn damn.
PoI, to me, is clearly the best show on network television right now. It needs a full season. Not happy. | geemoney

Glad to see they'll get the proper send-off though; it's the least CBS could do for the series given how important it's been for the network the last 15 years. Also good to see William Petersen coming back; the show has had some ups and downs since he left but Ted Danson managed to stabilize things. I liked his character which is why I'm disappointed to see it relegated to CSI: Cyber, which on the cross-over episode with CSI that it debuted on, looked just awful.
