The fact that so many NFL players reacted with shock and disbelief over his verdict shows how little people understand the justice system in America (I'm looking at YOU Jenoris Jenkins).
Either way, it's a good thing for the NFL to wash its hands of this matter and never speak of it again. The league has enough problems with their public perceptions of how they turn a blind eye to violence off the field.
While it's a shame such a young man thought it was okay to murder somebody, it is also a shame that nobody ever really seemed to TRY to get him to turn his life around, from college on. | Promote this thread! |             | Kevintripod
