Hey, guys, remember when I first posted about this a while back? (The W)

Max Landis, after apparently premiering this out in California yesterday, just dropped his latest on YouTube. SPOILERS: it checks in at just over 24 minutes. It's told in just about a total kayfabe perspective, and he does gloss over (if not outright miss) a few spots, and some spots are explained a bit out of sequence. He goes so far as to acknowledge this on camera.

That said, Max Landis nailed this one to the gatdamn wall. The John Cena section alone is worth your time. Also, in addition to Hollywood friends (and his dad!) making cameos, he got folks like Chris Hero, Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, and a few others to make appearances!

Please enjoy responsibly.

Anyone who doesn't find this as awesome as I did needs to at least hang on until the genesis of Evolution. It gets even better at that point.

Seth Green and Macaully Culkin as drug induced dX fans.

Colt Cabana and Justin Roberts are in there too.

Was that Ranjin Singh there in the board room?

I am traveling and trying to kill time and that whole video captivated me from start to end and I must have laughed out loud numerous times. Thank you for posting this.

The cute Cena actress with the "Spoiler: I win" shirt doing the "you can't see me" cracked me up for some reason.

I just realized this has Darren Criss in it (he doesn't like John Cena). When the Gleeks figure out he's actually straight and did something with wrestling, they will kill him.

Loved it.

Summed up pretty much all of the key points of Triple H's condensed character history in the WWE Five Year Sliding Timeline.

That was fantastic for so many reasons. I'll have to rewatch that to catch all the small details like former Champion David Arquette outta nowhere or the reunion of Cryme Tyme. The best part to me is in the beginning when Landis explains that wrestling is a weekly live action stage drama that provides comedy, drama, outlandish suspension of disbelief, constantly shifting human drama, intersecting plotlines and evolving characters. You could follow the WCW debut of Big Show as the Giant or Daniel Bryan from his debut on NXT and each man would have an epic yarn spanning several novels that could rival the number of stories written about well-known fictional heroes like Conan or James Bond.

It's probably why a majority of us continue to watch WWE, TNA, etc even after the product has burned us multiple times. It's not only a form of unique entertainment but when you look past the surface of the ring and the tights you've got an ever-growing always shifting multiverse that unlike other tv shows, and movies, and books never fully ends even if you cut off the head. It just continues to build and grow.

Oh yeah, the women used in this were not only visually appealing but were actually great actors and hilarious. Kudos to all of them!

Best use of "poopy poopy caca caca" in a single sentence.

Morrison is still ripped. Even more so than last I saw him. I'd say top heavy but the growth appeared to be in the legs too.

Great share. Enjoyed it from start to finish.

I enjoyed this as well. I thought the middle sagged a bit, but it had such a strong beginning and end that it was worth the view. Was that Oates of Garfunkel and Oates as Daniel Bryan?

Kate Micucci, yeah I thought that too but it's not her. That was the cutest Daniel bryan ever though.

Full Credits (with unapproved WWE footage!):

Anna Lore as Daniel Bryan. I thought it was the girl from Garfunkel and Oates, too.

Almost ALL the girls do a better job with the characters than the original wrestlers do, lol. I could actually stand to watch Chick Cena. I love the big, vacant grin on Cena's face that never changes, lol. Orton and Batista were great too, as were Benoit and Bryan (though if this is kayfabe, does Benoit even exist? They sure don't admit he does, even if they weren't able to cut him out of ALL the DVDs). Loved all the cameos, including Seth Green and Culken.

I will have to subscribe to this guy's channel ... does he have any more wrestling-related videos?

Also, I wasn't able to spot Daniels, can someone help point him out to me? Love that guy, got to meet him after a TNA show one time. Nice guy.

I think that's him at 20:43 behind "Daniel Bryan" holding a $9.99 sign. This is before the crowd throws bricks at "TripleH."

Yeah, that's definitely him, thanks! That's one hell of a brief cameo, but at least he's in there. I liked it so much I re-watched parts of it. I'm especially fond of the summation of the Undertaker's character (a Satanic wizard who wrestles despite having a cult of hundreds of hooded followers), followed by FORMER WCW CHAMPION Arquette saying 'You do know it's fake, right?' Followed by the Undertaker teleporting in behind him.

Shockmaster reference moved this from just good to brilliant. Wonder what kind of budget this was done on. I'm sure it took ages to edit.

Christopher Daniels is on screen pretty clearly at around the 6:28 mark, right before Cryme Time appears in a see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil trio and Colt Cabana calls for the tomatoes.

Really needs repeated viewings to see it all. Since it was released under a CC license, its only a matter of time before an annotated version appears somewhere, I guess?

Not going to lie - it got real dusty in my room watching this towards the end with the zoom on Triple H through the different phases of his character. TREMENDOUS job on this by the whole cast and crew.
