...and the reviews are not kind.

IGN

While the wrestlers look amazing and the combat feels significantly better, MyCareer mode is an absolute slog and everything else has been done better in previous years.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of reviews out but thought it best to start the thread now to save anyone who was just about to rush out to buy it. These versions don't sound a lot better than the previously released PS3/XBOX versions. Maybe wait a little bit.

Heartbreaking. I looked forward to playing this with the Christmas PS4.

What galls me is the inability to make divas. The entire Tracker clan has gotten wrestling characters for years. Now I can't make The Lovely Mrs. Tracker. That guts our collective fun.

Before anyone starts getting too upset, it's entirely possible a future patch or update will put in the missing match types and the Create-A-Diva option that the Tracker clan likes.

As for myself, I still prefer 2K14, but the local game shop has the SD vs Raw games on cheap so I may pick them up. I always thought those were pretty awesome.

We're trusting a game review from Yahoo? Really?

I trust them just about as much as I trust IGN. I quite dislike IGN nowadays - they often lump all reviews for all systems into one - very lazy "reporting" from my perspective.

So...how about this...who here has the game? Who likes it or dislikes it? Who can give an unbiased opinion?

FWIW, that review is actually from Polygon. Some content sharing thing I suppose.

The review is reprinted from game site Polygon and it matches what a bunch of other critics and sites have said, so... yes?

Kotaku didn't like it. GameSpot didn't like it. Joystiq didn't like it. As mentioned upthread, IGN didn't like it and Bix reviewed it for Figure Four Weekly and didn't like it.

Nothing annoys me more than reviews that compare the game with other versions of it.

I also ended up with the Xbox 360 version even despite reading the reviews and swearing I'd finally give the series a miss this year.

I'm afraid I don't share your love for it, Oliver.

Tried this one. Wouldn't have got it but the game store where I did my trade-ins didn't have EA Sports UFC. So far, it's not that bad, but maybe it helped that my expectations were super low. I also got a ~250MB patch so maybe that fixed some of the initial issues?

I can see how the MyCareer mode might be a bit of a drag but I haven't made it that far into it yet. I haven't noticed a ton of glitches but it does seem really random as to when it will actually let me use one of my stored finishers.

Cubs, it's your job to let me know when the Season Pass goes on sale. Also the Jackbox. And Minecraft.
