He checked himself in after damning his friend's daughter to hell after summoning a demon who took the kid instead of the lesser demon, he was supposed to get. He gets a message via cockroaches to protect another friend's daughter. This daughter can see the spirirt world and such. The entire episode is about John and his friends protecting the girl from another demon. The girl is able through an amulet and her blood show where demon activity is. She leaves John and he ends up in the bar talking to an angel.
The wife through a lot more detailed review for the site. If I can plug that. Geek nods are Dr Fate's helmet, Nazgul and he does smoke at the end as we see him put out his cigarette. | Promote this thread! |             | oudom

Reposted on: 27.10.21 1506.07 | I think I saw the leaked pilot. I had no idea that the woman who played Liv was Mayor Burell's daughter from True Blood. Probably because I supressed most of that show after the series finale. That does suck. On an unrelated note, Damon Wayans Jr. returned to New Girl despite only doing the pilot so stranger things have happened.
I really enjoyed the Hellblazer series, I even kinda like the Keanu Reeves movie for what it was. Constantine had me hooked when I realized Matt Ryan would be playing the character as a mix of Ripper Giles and Spike from Buffy. I'll be watching this show intently to see how close to the source material NBC will allow them to get, plus the acting was strong. It's always good to see Perrineau in anything.
The episode was certainly more intriguing than the six or so episodes I tried to watch of Supernatural. | oudom

Lucy Griffiths was Eric Northman's "sister" Nora that he was banging, not Mayor Burell's daughter Willa. Yeah, it seems like they are keeping it open for her to come back some day.
