I will miss his voice, miss those times when he would occasionally interact with someone.
The guy started as an announcer in 193Fricking8 for god's sake. 1938 to 2014. That is 76 years of work!
What a legend. I hope it's an internet hoax
edit - can a Mod fix the title? Duh

Goddard, 16 years with Conan (he's doing this https://www.youtube.com/user/TurtlewithLemonade) Alan Kalter 19 years with Letterman - but Goddard and Kalter started with Conan/Letterman at about 5 years younger than Don was when he started with SNL and they are 20 and 25 years, respectively, younger than Pardo. | Zeruel

Ediie Murphy - back when he was funny. Mr Robinson's neighborhood and Gumby. And Joe doing the Sinatra thing. Everyone else was pretty forgettable, althoug a couple of them hung on for quite a while. At least it wasn't as bad as the season with Charles Rocket. | dwaters

| #8 Posted on 22.8.14 1118.35 Reposted on: 22.8.21 1118.36 | Pardo did some fringe announcing for the WWF's Saturday Night's Main Event. Usually just a quick blurb where he'd say: "Saturday Night Live will not be seen tonight, so we may bring you this special presentation of Saturday Night's Main Event".
I think he also did some commercial bumpers for the first few "Main Event" specials. They've been edited out of the versions on WWE Network since they were usually promos for Burger King and stuff. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
