You defames yourself enough Jesse, a "sea story" about you getting punched doesn't harm you.
What a piece of shit. Amazing how much he stammers when his talking points run out.

*I doubt they're gonna need to print new copies of the book, but if they do, it won't contain the "defamation." | StaggerLee

He couldn't take that his "public image" was tarnished because somebody said he got punched. Let that sink in. Punched. Not beat up. Not his ass kicked. Not nearly killed. But punched. Think of all the criticism he's faced since he first run for office. All the insults and all the questioning of his mental stability. His being called a 9-11 truther and other conspiracy nut related insults. But he got punched and THAT is just too much?
The book doesn't mention him by name, he was just mentioned in a press conference. Before his suit, I don't remember ANYBODY saying "Hey did you hear Jesse Ventura got beat up by a Navy SEAL?".
The only way this got any traction at all is because he filed a suit.
Sorry, any way you slice it, he's a piece of shit. | JimBob Skeeter

Right after this interview was done, another (long-time)reporter at this station asked Jesse for a couple minutes more. The jist that he got was that this guy had agreed to take this portion out of the book. Jesse was waiting and waiting for Kyle to do it, but he kept on hesitating, basically making Jesse doing it.
Now, to do it after his death and drag his widow into it, bs. This lawsuit did more to his image than whatever little bit was said in that book about him. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
