Reposted on: 12.5.21 0959.01 | Remember when a R-rating meant some cursing, some violence and maybe some nudity? This R-rated comedy pushed some serious boundaries, but I guess the boundaries keep getting re-drawn with each passing year.
Despite that, this movie was funny as hell...an epic battle of wills between a family and a neighboring frat. I was pleasantly shocked to see how much screentime and story the frat guys got, making their side of the movie less shallow and one-dimensional.
Best part was the homage to Morgan Freeman's "John Doe has the upper hand!" line from Se7en.
