I don't get out on the newz sites too much - maybe you don't either, so this will be new to you as well.

Back in January, somebody (Bix?) went on PACER and grabbed some exhibits from Warrior's 2006 lawsuit against Vince (Ultimate Creations Inc. vs. WWE Inc.) around the "Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior" DVD and a lengthy FAX from (then-)Jim Hellwig and Vince McMahon's response made the rounds. Somehow we missed this until tonight, but we'll make that right RIGHT NOW!

The context of this correspondence was Warrior was threatening to stay home and no-show his SummerSlam main event due to what he felt was unfair compensation from WM7.

Warrior's FAX (it was a FAX! I love that) can be found here: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-NNkZSWAAYlMDMyQ1VIVVMxaUk/preview?pli=1

Vince's letter can be found here:
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-NNkZSWAAYlT3NEZ1puVkpLakk/preview?pli=1

If you would prefer something a little more legible, a painstaking conversion to text (though not necessarily English) can be found at this Daily Wrestling News piece from 1/20 (dailywrestlingnews.com).

A few days ago, portions of the payout list from SS '91 were posted as a "we need lots of ur clicks" slideshow on What Culture (a site I will admit I've never heard of before now) but to save everyone a whole lot of time, earlier tonight someone else helpfully posted the seven pages over on Imgur (imgur.com) and I encourage you to click over there instead.

All these pages appear to be portions of the same PACER document... I believe Vince's post-SS letter suspending Warrior is part of it as well, but don't think that one's online. (Yet?)

Anyway, I thought all this was an interesting time capsule, so I'm bringing it here to share with you just in case you hadn't seen it yet. (If you HAD...why didn't you tell me sooner?)

Fascinating. When Warrior was talking about monies, I thought it was talking about a different type of currency til I realized he meant money. I have to say as much shit Warrior has gotten over the years, he does bring up some valid points in regard to his pay. It does surprise me, Vince gave him what he wanted.

The payout sheet is very interesting in terms of pay. I also have no idea why Hogan got a $1500 bonus. Perfect getting paid more than Bret makes sense considering he was champ and had a bad back in that match. Perhaps Perfect should have gotten the bigger bonus. I think the real winners are Macho and Elizabeth getting a large chunk of change just renew their vows.

Vince gave Warrior what he wanted to get him to work Summerslam the following month. As soon as the PPV was over Vince suspended Warrior for threatening to no-show. He had no intentions of honouring the agreement long-term.

As with the above it was probably just a way of making sure Hogan was still the highest paid on the show without breaking the temporary agreement Vince had made with Warrior (the agreement didn't mention having the same bonus levels).

I am a big fan of whoever wrote up this sheet and had them listed on the card as "Marriage - Savage VS Elizabeth".

In the financial world, monies is the plural of money. I had an accountant for a mother and I always thought that word sounded funny.

Most interesting to me is the fact that a slew of "stand by" wrestlers got paid, despite not being on the card. Clearly that has changed since WWE does its best to cram every single active talent on the WrestleMania card.
