Beth needs a drink, Daryl needs a hug. That was the most aggressive crossbow lessons ever. I'm glad nothing..uh.. sexual happened between Beth and Daryl with all the drinking and the "I've never" game. It would've been weird... except I just read that the actress who plays Beth is 28 and she looks way under-age.

It was nice seeing Beth as something more than a background character. And Daryl showing that maybe the apocalypse was starting to get to him, and letting his guard down, was also a nice touch.

I get nervous for some of these characters, though, as the show has a history of, right after investing time in developing a character, knocking that characters off in short order.

I wouldn't mind Beth buying it, but not until she gives Lizzie the what-for for mishandling Judith.

Next week: Ben, Sasha and Maggie stand in the fog!

I was really starting to get irked by JB Smoove on Talking Dead. Just get your point across and then SHUT UP. So, you're a comedian. We get it. There is only so much time in a Talking Dead episode, and on the rare ocasions Daryl is on, we want to hear HIM.

Yeah, Beth is 28. Looked that up last night, too. Wonder what the casting call was for her back then? (when she would have been 23-ish?)

"Girl, mid-teen looking, singer, must be good with a knife."

Emily Kinney's hands are freakishly large, too.

As soon as Daryl set the Grandfather clock up, I looked at my wife and said, "It's oing to start working now." Next frame, as Daryl is walking away: "Tic, tic......." They should hav eused Undertaker's gong as the sound, tho. THAT would have been funny. Cue the Acolytes! I could see the APA having fun with Daryl.

Man, I thought something was going to happen between them too and was cringing every time they got close. I am glad nothing happened.

For the second consecutive episode, we got a reference to Washington DC (Eugene's mission, the country club spoon). Maybe this is leading somewhere.

Running into a country club in Georgia is a genius move, and I wish we could have stayed there longer. If they could hole up (ha!) at the Augusta National Golf Club (only 2 hours from Atlanta), they could have quite the shelter for months. They still could go back to Pine Vista, one supposes, if they wanted. Clear it out and use it as a home base.

Glad to see Daryl process what he's lost and just how much he's changed since the awalkerlypse. He became his own man and found a place among good people. He can do that again if he gets that chance. Beth's declaration that he'll be the last man standing is an ominous jinx. No. He'll be the noble sacrifice, and that's gonna destroy us emotionally.

I'd love to see them have the walkers chase them thru Amen Corner and see how many make it.

I didn't think that was fog, I thought it was smoke related to the fire Beth and Daryl started.

I think next week Bob, Sasha, and Maggie meet up with Beth and Daryl and possibly others drawn to the fire.
