Technically, a dark horse is a contender with unknown odds. Christian's chances are well known; he has absolutely no shot. I don't think my predictions are substantially different from anyone else:

Orton
Wyatts
Batista
Usos
O'Neil
Rhodeses
and I'll take Swagger to set up Cesaro's face turn, but I wouldn't be real surprised if this just goes the safe route of Big E retaining.

Christian is really good at coming up with interesting and innovative sequences, I imagine that's why he's in the Chamber over someone with a slightly more believable chance of winning like Bray Wyatt or El Torito.

Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Cesaro vs. John Cena vs. Christian vs. Daniel Bryan, Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Orton retains.

The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family: Wyatts win; Shield starts the process.

Batista vs. Alberto Del Rio: Batista

Big E. vs. Jack Swagger, WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: I'll say Swagger, to start a Swagger-Cesaro feud

The New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos, WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Usos but not the titles.

Darren Young vs. Titus O'Neil: Titus O'Neil

Rhodes Brothers vs. RybAxel: RybAxel; Rhodes Brothers start the process.

I'm curious, has anyone ever done a study of how the general rule of "stand tall on the go-home, lose on the PPV" works out? Geemoney, since we're starting a new prediction year, perhaps you can include that as one of the entrants each time around and see where that ends up in the rankings?

Yup. Christian is a superlative train conductor. Just watch him in the Money in the Bank match last summer.

Also, if I'm Christian's agent, I'm issuing a press release to this thread stating that my client Mr. Charisma was injured while the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship, then returned to action by defeating Jack Swagger, NO LESS THAN THE WINNER of last year's Elimination Chamber contest, to qualify.

And the realistic answer -- if you have six real main eventers in the Chamber, five of them have to lose. Hence EC constituents of recent years Santino Marella, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, the Great Khali, and Drew McIntyre.

Speaking of which, since you figure John Cena is probably going to again be the victim of a Wyatts DAH! light trick, I hope they take the opportunity to give Cesaro and not Orton the 3-count over him. I guess that depends on whether Cena or Bryan gets to the end.

Yeah, Bryan never getting getting into the match because his pod mysteriously "won't open" is both plausible booking and such an amazing troll move for the last PPV of the pre-Network era. I mean, it would be terrible for the paying audience, but as a storyline (as presented on TV and in terms the meta-fictional fans vs. company) thing, it's kind of brilliant.

Literally the only screwy finish that would make me happier would be Bryan savagely beating the other four guys and collapsing from the effort when the final pod opens...and Christian's comatose body tumbles out on top of Bryan for the three count.

I still think a jealous Boo-Tista screwing Bryan at the very end is a much more logical way of going. Foley returns as commish on Raw and forces Big Dave to defend his WM-ticket against Bryan.

But however it goes, I guess I don't mind WWE crapping on the fans one last time in the chamber. But only with the proviso that Bryan gets his chance at the title at Mania.

But even at Mania, I bet they STILL run a false finish first just to troll the fudge out of you.

Or perhaps he breaks out of his pod -- but out of the Chamber entirely thanks to some hidden bolt-cutters -- and then enters in again somehow, only to be DQ'd -- perhaps immediately after the final pin -- for leaving the structure.

Having trouble editing my post on this phone.

Outlaws retain, but lose at WrestleMania.

Titus beats Darren.

If Bryan's pod won't open, he'll KICK it open, of course.

Orton retains

Outlaws retain....gotta say, I was hoping they'd hold off NAO/Usos until Wrestlemania, and then the Usos could go over in a sixty-second special. A dominant win for the new guys, a time-saver on the Mania card, everyone wins. So, I'm picking the Outlaws to retain here to set up my dream scenario for next month.

Swagger wins the title, sets up his losing the belt to Cesaro at the Mania curtain-jerker. THE REAL AMERICANS EXPLODE!

Young beats Titus

Batista beats Del Rio

Wyatts beat the Shield in an early Match Of The Year contender

Rhodes brothers beat RybAxel

Bryan wins. Under normal circumstances, the title win should happen at Mania, but the launch of the Network is what matters right now, even more than Wrestlemania. That's why they'll do it now, to start the Network era with a bang. At Wrestlemania Bryan defends against Triple H, Batista and Orton (with Flair as guest referee and Kane as guest time keeper). Yes! Yes! Yes!

Shield vs. Wyatts ends in total chaos. Feud continues. Rematch at Mania. Shield break-up postponed. Cena doesn't wrestle Bray Wyatt at Mania. Teams with Hogan (The Real Real Americans, brother!) against The Real Americans instead. Best for business.

Big E retains.

Titus wins.

Outlaws retain. Usos win the belts at Mania (in the opener or pre-show).

Bootista wins. Continues to suck on his road to Wrestlemania.

Making the title match at WM a fourway is probably the best idea I've heard so far, and I'm surprised it's not been brought up more. All the groundwork is there for that match - animosity exists between all the players except maybe Batista and Bryan.

I've heard talk in other thread that Christian may not even make it into the pod via beat down and someone (Reigns, Batista, Bray) taking his place. That spot could also be used with Bryan to give him a reason to be in the WMXXX 3or4 Way. Of Course, Running through the Authority Gauntlet in the process.

That said

Orton Retains
Wyatt - Sheild no decision double DQ or count out.
Swagger wins... Possible Zebstraction
O'Neil
Del Rio wins by DQ after Batista goes too far.
Old Age Outlaws Win here by shennanigans. (Lose the next night on Raw Rematch.)

Randy Orton vs. Sheamus vs. Cesaro vs. John Cena vs. Christian vs. Daniel Bryan, Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: I have a feeling I'm wrong, but I'll say Daniel Bryan, just on the off chance I'm right. A screwjob will make more sense and this will SURELY keep me from going undefeated in the predictions game for next year, but alas.

The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family: Wyatt Family

Batista vs. Alberto Del Rio: Batista

Big E. vs. Jack Swagger, WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Big E

The New Age Outlaws vs. The Usos, WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Usos... I can't imagine we go into Mania with the Outlaws as champs... right?

Darren Young vs. Titus O'Neil: Titus O'Neil

Rhodes Brothers vs. RybAxel: Ryback and Axel

Why don't they pull the old switcheroo with Bryan and Batista? Bryan gets screwed on Sunday, then Vince or whoever comes back for OMG LAUNCH NIGHT and announces that HHH is ignoring the fans and Bryan should have been in the Rumble yadda yadda yadda. He makes Bryan Vs. Batista for the title shot. Dave tells HHH he doesn't want his help, HHH interferes anyway and it backfires, Bryan wins to face Orton and Batista faces HHH. Gets Dave away from the title scene and gives HHH someone who he won't mind acting the heel for.

HHH/Batista would probably get a similar reaction to Lesnar/Goldberg at WM XX, no matter who is heel or face.
