The PPVs produced by WCW but ran by other promotions - AAA's When World's Collide, the WCW/NJPW Supershows - aren't on the list. Won't make a difference to 99% of people and something that can be fixed later when they expand past WWE/WCW/ECW triumvirate.

A quick check of Wikipedia tells me that Mayhem in Manchester and Global Warning (AUS-only) are not on the list, but the rest of the UK-only PPVs (Rebellion, etc.) are.

Who knows, maybe they'll be on there when the Network expands globally.

Wasn't there a 'No Holds Barred - The Match' PPV that piggybacked onto a PPV showing of the movie? I think it was Brutus/Hulk v. Z-Gangsta/Macho, and other matches.

I remember Brutus+Hulk w/ Elizabeth vs. Macho+Zeus w/ Sherri being the main event of SummerSlam '89, but it's possible they did the same match at some other show, because I also remember them doing like 12 different variations of that match during Hogan & Randy's post-WrestleMania 5 feud.

It was just the movie and Hulk/Beefcake vs. Savage/Zeus in a cage. No other matches.

Yeah, the No Holds Barred match was a rematch inside a cage. It also featured one of the greatest promos of all time leading up to it:

No Holds Barred - The Match

Was The Great American Bash a PPV in 1987? It's not on the list, '88 is the earliest Bash listed. I was hoping to see the very first War Games match.

I guess, instead, I'll go with Starcade '86 and the scaffold match.

The Bash started in 1985, but I believe it wasn't an actual "PPV" until 1988. The Bash was usually a tour of several cities.

I'm sure there's a VHS of the Great American Bash 1987 out there somewhere, maybe.

Royal Rumble 1988 wasn't a PPV, but it's apparently been retconned into one. It's on the list.

The 1987 Bash was released on VHS. I happen to have a copy of that tape that I then transferred into an .avi so I have something that can last longer. It has the first 2 WarGames matches, Flair vs. Jimmy Garvin in a cage, Dusty vs. Tully in a Barbed Wire Ladder Match, The Rock and Rolls vs MX, Barry Windham vs Rick Steiner and a few others. It is actually one of my favorites.

A lot of the early WWF shows on the list weren't actually PPVs at the time, but they decided they can't really do this without WrestleMania 1.

True, but you had to pay to see it. Royal Rumble was on USA.

Elimination Chamber 2014 is not listed, so I guess that answers the next-day availability question.

Mayhem in Manchester wasn't a PPV. It didn't even air on TV. It was originally scheduled to be one following the success of One Night Only but some sort of negotiations fell through and it ended up being cancelled. All that was ever released was a cut-down 1 hour VHS showing highlights (including Undertaker wrestling in street clothes because the airline lost his bags).

"You don't KNOW where I'm gonna be, Hulk Hogan!!!!"

I completely expect The Ultimate Warrior to end his HoF speech with that, and then sneaking around trying to climb the stage curtains like a cage wall.
