The middle third of this movie is gut wrenching and had my blood pressure soaring. LOTS of excitement and a lot of stressful gun battles going on.
Mark Wahlberg was pretty fantastic in this movie. It's amazing how he can be great in one flick and total garbage in the next.
Anyway, if you're not familiar with the story, it's about four Navy SEALS who go into the Afghanistan mountains looking for an Al Qeda leader. Things go wrong and only one person makes it out alive.
Pretty gripping account of how he was saved, and the locals who risked their lives to help him out.
Overall I liked it a lot, didn't quite love it, but it is definitely a terrific movie.
At the end, they show photos of the real people involved in the operations. This is what got me, had me a bit teary eyed.
I'd recommend it. Promote this thread! | | Kevintripod

I liked the movie also. Definitely has you on the edge of your seat almost all the way through it. The rescue helicopter scene was completely gut wrenching and heartbreaking.

This made some interesting reading, especially where it explains a few things that weren't true in the movie. | TheBucsFan
