4th season brought me back into the "much watch this show". Ended very sadly. So...we riot?

This season was really good due to how little screentime Margeret Schroeder got. Sad ending for Richard Harrow. Eli beating down Knox was the best thing ever. I hate that guy. Glad they didn't kill off Chalky White when they easily could've. Sad about Maybelle, though.

Killing off Harrow is just baffling to me. I know this is a show that likes to back itself into a corner when it comes to offing popular characters, but Harrow was literally the only thing that transcended the show's gangster trappings for me.

He was a great, unique character and they really had nothing for him this season... and now he's dead. I don't mind that they killed him off (although that wasn't my preference), but he really went out in the weakest way possible.

She's another victim of the 'Skylar White Syndrome' - women who behave just as badly as the men yet get all of the fan-hate.

I felt this season was really all over the map. There were some pretty great moments, but, largely, I am at a loss for the story they are trying to tell here. The Darmody storyline really made sense, but since then it's pretty much defaulted into your standard mob power struggles that we've seen dozens of times. I have expected Nucky to grab Eli by the cheeks and say, "I know it was you, Eli. You broke my heart. You broke my heart!"

But the real suprise... Mickey Doyle isn't dead yet.
