I mean, the turnbuckles, WWF.com logo below the Titantron, giant WWF logo from entrance, WWF logo on Titles, WWF logo on the camera crew's shirts were not blurred out! What a pleasant surprise. It was only $3.99 on Amazon Instant Video so I gave it a try. About 2 hours of a condensed history of TripleH from growing up near Boston, to his one year at WCW as Terra Rizing (Killer Kowalski wanted to name him The Terrorizer, he asked for a first and last name and it ended up being Terra Rizing) and Jean Paul Levesque (WCW offered him a 2 year contract he asked for one), to coming to WWF, to marrying the boss's daughter. Pretty cool to see Foley and Undertaker put him over because everyone else looked like his buddies and just telling us about how great he is. Terry Taylor doesn't look like he used to for some reason, I didn't know who it was until they wrote "Terry Taylor." Xpac looks terrible. No Scott Hall, no Chyna, and no Jericho. Hall was probably in DDP rehab when they put this together, Jericho shouldn't have too much positive to say about Hunter, and if someone was putting together a retrospective of your career, would YOU want an ex-girlfriend to get some mic time on it? | CTX

They came to an agreement (ie paid them a shit load of money) with the panda folks last year to allow them use of the WWF logo/initials on historic footage again. Was mainly because they didn't want to have to edit a ton of footage they intend(ed) to air on the WWE Network. | oudom

(Incidentally, I'm guessing the whole "chapel of love" thing became Canon Discontinuity around WM25 when the fact that HHH and Stephanie were married in real life was finally mentioned on TV.) | oudom

The Priest didn't want to do the wedding because his nephew told him they were married and divorced (on TV) and Linda McMahon had to explain to him the whole storyline. Also, they started talking about how WWE Champion TripleH was drafted to Smackdown in 2008 but they finally revealed on TV the real life marriage as a way to bring TripleH back to Raw because Randy attacked Vince, Shane, and Stephanie on Raw. | Dawg

"Were these two married and then divorced in the past? I can't go through with this."
"Oh no, no, no, you see he drugged her and drove her to a drive thru wedding chapel in Vegas."

I think that started around DX/McMahons time in the heady (from blowjobs; lolol those rascals) days of 2006 when Stephanie was pregnant and they joked about Hunter being the father. However, there was one segment during the brief Linda McMahon heel turn of October '05 when Steph and HHH ran into each other backstage and stared deep into each other's eyes. I suppose that that is where they could've reconciled from their parting of the ways. | Amos Cochran

I have this vague memory of announcers implying that they two "got back together" after the chapel of love/divorce storyline, but I don't know for sure and quite honestly don't think it really matters. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
