Incoming NBA commissioner Adam Silver says that the Bradley Center, home of the Milwaukee Bucks, is not a suitable venue, and that he supports the owners' efforts to get a new arena built.

The Bradley Center seats 18,600 for basketball, and received $3 million in upgrades last season.

The Bucks went 38-44 last year, and were swept by the eventual champion Miami Heat in the first round of the playoffs. They last won a playoff series in the 2000-01 season, defeating the Orlando Magic 4-1 and Charlotte Hornets 4-3 before losing to the Philadelphia 76ers 4-3 in the Eastern Conference Finals. This was also their most recent division championship.

The Bucks won their first (and so far only) NBA Championship in their third year in the league, 1970-71, behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Oscar Robertson.

That's how the Sonics journey to OKC got started. Be careful, Bucks management.

And the next step is to completely tank the season, killing off any potential fan interest. Fast-forward to 2014, the Bucks are in Seattle with a new arena and a top three draft pick.
