Reposted on: 23.9.20 2105.09 | We cut upside down cam of the Horseman chasing Ichabod and it turns into three more horsemen. He is entangled by a tree and taken down to an underground city. His wife is there and explains they are the Four Horsemen and there is an army of evil before all that. She also warns we maybe dealing with a witch then we get scary blue avatar witch to which he wakes up. I have run and been in Call of Cthulu campaigns less fucked up then this. One of which almost lead to a drunken fight.
We get Abby talking to Captain Orlando Jordan. Remember all that evidence that made them a tag team? Yep, that is all gone. Even the video Sulu getting Pezzed turns out to have no Devil in it. The captain still makes them a team while we get a funny montage of Ich getting ready in the morning with posits. Abby shows up and Ich gives all exposition for this week's Lex Files. Yeah, in honor of the late Clancy Brown, I am calling them Lex files. Deal with it. After Abby and Ich fight, Sulu returns from the dead with upside down head then he goes back to normal thanks to Satan and pulls a Medellin out of his mouth. Yep, the drunken brawl looks more sane.
Ichabod explains his relationship with his wife while bitching about taxes. I sorta love how outrage this dude gets about things we really should be outraged over. Then we get Clancy's funeral. Ich stops by his wife's grave and realizes its a witch. Sulu, I guess his name is Andy raises the witch and stops a random guy to ave the witch kill him. Ich and Abby discuss that Clancy turned her life around after she saw the Devil. The pair called to the dead burnt out car of random guy with his heart ripped out.
Flashback time of Ich in Revolutionary Time facing off against a witch. A very hot witch. Again, we get George Washington as Van Hellsing ordering Ich to destroy a group of witches. They find the Lex files are gone and we get Luke, Iraqi and Abby's fun place vet. He doesn't like Ich. We go to the basement where there is no lie an emergency pick axe, Ich uses to reveal a secret passage underneath the city. They travel through the passage and find black powder. I wonder if that will be used later? Eventually, they are in a room where the Lex files are. We jump to two boys playing soccer that Andy runs into. It doesn't look good for one of the boys.
Ich reads the Monster Manuel to find out how to beat the witches. Guess what? Its burning at the stake. The witch curses the descendants that she will kill them om the blood moon which is tonight. I guess the kid is one of them and off they go rescue him and we get scared kid in a house with an evil witch for a good five minutes. The witch has the kid, but he is adopted and she takes his father's urn. We go back to the underground passage with Andy digging up the witches' bones only for Ich and Abby to get their a minute late. We get the witch casting a spell of resurrection or binding on her bones depending on your D&D edition.
The witch like the Horsemen is immune to bullets. She rises and speaks in tongues about Ich's wife trapping her who is also trapped in another dimension. Remember that black powder? Yep, used even though it looked like the spark went out on the torch they used to light it. Big Boom and its wrap up partner time with coffee. Abby goes into Clancy's office and we get ghost Clancy probably something to do with the Prize from Highlander 2. They argue about her destiny and faith. He also says something about case number 49 and not being alone. Oh...its the room number to her sister who is still in the asylum. Her sister is going full Sara Conner in T2 while a dark flash then the end.
Ok, the plot holes are huge. The plot changes like its Twilight fan fiction. On top of the fact that the monsters can be killed by BC weaponry like the sun and fire, but not 21st century weapons. Still, I have no idea if I like this show or if its a chaotic mess. I am going to try to give it another chance, but wow...just wow. episode two and we get witches, zombie Andy and Ghost Clancy on top of bad ass sister who sees monsters. Next week, its the Sandman and probably not the one who changes out with Death, Destiny and Matthew.

I was mistaken last week. Ichabod does call Abby "Leftenant" all the time. It's my favorite thing on the show.
Ichabod watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes in his motel room. That's the first movie he ever saw. And the first movie star he ever saw: James Franco. Now, someone explain CGI apes to him.

You had a kid relatively recently, right? How on Earth do you keep up with all the TV you talk about without recording it? I have a DVR and had to drop a ton of shows after my son was born. Just no time. | KJames199
