| #1 Posted on 30.8.13 0251.08 Reposted on: 30.8.20 0251.37 | I haven't been on a podcast since "Joe vs. the World" in very early 2007, but that didn't faze Justin Rozzero and Scott Criscuolo of the Place To Be Nation from giving me just over 100 minutes to do what I'm sure will sound to true aficionados as "a poor man's Justin Shapiro" but what was really #249 of their podcast. Kill some time and hear me try really hard to lose my voice!
And HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEITH

I usually download them to my work hard drive first, THEN listen from there. Makes it easier to take breaks or go back & re-listen to parts I missed if I have to.
I just finished listening, and these are things I walked away with:
I completely forgot that Bob Ryder and Sean Shannon even existed. Also, is Sean a transgender(er?), or was she always a woman? I didnt get that part.
I found it really irritating when you (CRZ) would finish speaking and it always took the hosts a good 2-3 seconds to realize you were done and it was time for them to ask the next question. Were they speaking to each other off mic the whole time or something? I especially hated when something you said clearly went over their heads and instead of asking a follow-up question, they would just jump to their next question.
Why is the intro to their podcast so damn long?
Totally thought "5 Moves of Doom" was Skeith's thing this whole time. Sorry about that. I also always thought you two had beef for some reason?
[SPOILER ALERT]Were you the only Wrestliner not getting paid?
The one recurring joke from your recaps that always stuck with me was "Raymond Stereo". Oh, and "Steve Blackman (w/ Riggs & Murtaugh)". Good times. I dont think I noticed all the extra L's in Mark LLLLLLLLoyd's name until it got up to like 10.
I'm sure there's more but that's all I remember. | CRZ

| #4 Posted on 30.8.13 1702.20 Reposted on: 30.8.20 1702.43 | They were very polite. I actually thought they'd edit those pauses down, but dead air always seems ten times longer than it actually is - I'm sure they had a side chat going and were also looking up stuff in browsers. I meant to do that myself, but I was talking too much.
Google Groups has yet again changed their link to the post where I claim to have invented the Five Moves of Doom, but I have found it one more time to show you: Click Here (groups.google.com), but I've been making this absurd claim right here on the board for almost ten years (The 7). I don't think Scott and I ever had a real beef as we didn't have a whole lot of intersection - probably by choice - but I'm sure one of us thought the other one was a talentless hack who just happened to be in the right place at the right time and certainly didn't deserve the great heights of fame to which he later attained...although I'm not sure which one of us thought that about the other. (HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEITH) I WILL say I seem to recall that Scott was privately AND publicly unhappy after I went ahead and grabbed the SmackDown! gig at WrestleLie while simultaneously holding down the RAW and Nitro gigs because that meant I wasn't leaving a whole lot of high profile work for HIM to do for the site except PPVs and Thunder, which I can understand wouldn't be as fulfilling or...I don't know, bring in as many chicks, whatever. (Of course, this was 14 years ago so don't expect my memory to be correct at all, and there's no way I'm gonna dig up email from 1999 just to see if I've remembered correctly! That computer is way down in the basement and needs an Ethernet cable!)

And I got paid, once, after Denny Burkholder took over. I don't recall ever caring about Smackdown, though.
