They were fine! It's hard to mess up "Ruffles" style potato chips (although I generally skip the "extreme heat" type flavours) I suppose they were memorable enough for me to think of them for a "food" banner (combined with 7/11 being in my mind for TOMORROW'S banner - man, I know I say this every year but I wish there were 7-Elevens around here - although between my California trip and my business trip, I am sure I've actually had more Slurpees in 2013 than I probably had in the years 2005-2012 combined, so I should really stop pining for them, and yet...)
OK, one more 7-Eleven story. They are currently the EXCLUSIVE! carriers of Arizona Beverages' SHAQ SODA - two tallboys (23.5 oz) were going for $2. They are all "cream soda" flavours (minus) and made with sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup (plus!) - I did NOT try them all. They were OK. I'm glad I had them because I don't feel like I'm missing anything by not having access to them here. I don't know if the soda's going to be a limited run or if it'll catch on and expand to other places...we'll see...

For people of a certain age, that device evokes memories of magical days.
Does anyone remember the slightly earlier model with two additional A. B. switches on the outsides? If I remember correctly A. was normal and B. was a higher difficulty setting. Mostly this was just faster.
